As a Senior ASIC Physical Design engineer at NVIDIA in Shanghai, China, you will have the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in the tech industry. The ASIC team designs the integrated circuits (ICs) which are the backbone of the rapidly growing industry. As a Senior ASIC Physical Design Engineer, you will bring your expertise in integrated circuit layouts, power analysis, synthesis, timing closure and physical design flows to fulfill the goals of the team. Furthermore, you use your high knowledge of advanced synthesis processes to make sure that the chip timing and physical performance are compliant with the design requirements. Your understanding of timing analysis and clock tree synthesis will be of utmost importance in assuring the success of the design. You will need to work closely with the Process and Design teams in order to make sure that the design is meeting the product goals. You will also be working with the customers in order to make sure that we are meeting their requirements. Furthermore, you will also need to perform debugging and understanding of the chip design, being able to understand and fix any problems which might occur. Your innovative thinking in problem-solving and finding creative solutions will make sure that all tasks and goals are accomplished in a timely manner. We are also looking for someone with a strong passion for the tech industry. In this role, you will need to have a minimum of a BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent and have proven years' experience in ASIC Physical Design.
