: Java Developer – Working Student
: 12 months (possibility to prolong to the next 12 months)

As part of our team, you will:

• You will assist in the implementation of new features to provide new or improve the functionality of our tool
• Be involved in the configuration and administration of development environments using during daily works
• Have an opportunity to propose and implement automatization for our existing security solutions (e.g. CI/CD)
• Closely cooperate with domain experts, architects to provide expected output/solution during daily development and maintenance activities
  

You have:

• Active student status
• Good English, both spoken and written
• Knowledge and practical experience with the Java programming language
• Knowledge of Unix-based systems
• Experience using Git/SVN , CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab)
• Practical experience of using Docker
• Some knowledge of communication protocols e.g.: SOAP, REST, HTTP, SSH, TELNET

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience using Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Data Bases and SQL
• Design patterns and clean code principles
• Experience with building tools (e.g. MVN, Gradle)
• General security topics, e.g.: firewalls, DDOS, SQL injection

As part of our team, you will:

• Design, develop and maintain common cloud services of the Network Management solutions to meet security, performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions in a microservices architecture.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Explore and implement best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Contribute to short / mid-term decisions in own area.

Our Requirements:

• Hands-on experience with Ansible and Python
• Practical experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and containerized infrastructure and applications management
• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform or a similar container orchestration platform
• Practical knowledge of cloud native architecture principles
• Practical knowledge of Git, Gerrit, Jenkins
• Clean code expertise with knowledge of software engineering practices
• Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities
• Open to hybrid work from Wroclaw office

We will be more interested if you also have experience in:

• Experience deploying and maintaining common services like Kafka, Redis, Prometheus, Graphana, etc.
• Experience with OCP-V platform.
