WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
· Partner with the NYC Director of Retail Marketing to enable the end-to-end strategic planning and execution processes.
· Create and leverage tools and processes, driving clarity, efficiency and simplicity. Producing playbooks & toolkits for teams to clearly reference.
· Orchestrate the seasonal retail processes to enable the delivery of seasonal and evergreen campaigns across owned and partner channels.
· Lead end-to-end operational management for the Retail Marketing team by setting and driving compliance to dates and gates, briefings, leadership reviews, budget planning/oversight.
· Track and report project health, escalating risks as needed, and working with retail leadership with create solutions to get back on track.
· Mitigate brand and business risks by being a subject matter expert on Business Affairs/Legal, Finance, Procurement/Vendor Management.
· Build relationships across the NYC and NA Brand Marketing matrix and contribute to the overall operational strategy, continuously improving ways of working.
· Part of the larger NYC Brand Planning and Operations team, feeding into the holistic tools, communications and meetings, to provide Retail Marketing clarity and transparency to project status and health.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report directly to the NYC Director of Planning and Operations and partner closely with the NYC Director of Retail Marketing. Your primary cross-functional business partners include, NA Brand Planning and Operations, NYC Retail Marketing, NYC Brand Management & NA Retail Brand Planning and Operations. You will also partner with additional internal Nike functions such as legal, NA retail creative, business affairs, and procurement.
WHAT YOU BRING
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
· 5+ years relevant work experience in Retail Operations, Operations or Marketing.
· A strategic mindset with innovative problem-solving skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills (preferred).
· Proven experience creating and driving an end-to-end integrated marketing process. Retail process a plus.
· Expertise in building and managing marketing budgets to meet business goals
· Presentation skills, proficiency in Airtable, Keynote, Excel.
· Proven ability to manage complex processes and drive alignment across marketing teams.
· Highly organized with ability to handle multiple projects to drive seamless execution.
· Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment, with a diverse group of individuals and talents, strong collaboration skills.
· Possesses an optimistic and enthusiastic attitude towards change, while remaining flexible and tolerant to ambiguity.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
You will work closely with the North America Brand Marketing team, Store Merchants and the Visual Merchandizing & Styling team and Store business partners to align on key seasonal and 365 product stories for the geo. You will be responsible for understanding both the art and science of marketing; obsessing the business, consumer insights and the creative ways we tell our product stories in store. As the retail brand marketing expert, you will partner closely with the concept marketing teams to assist in building the wholistic seasonal store brand plan across concepts and ensure that the product stories are properly represented. You will partner with Global, Geo and City retail marketing teams to set, adopt and enrich seasonal Retail Brand strategies that define the vision for product presentation, communication and consumer experience in North America. You will also work closely with the Retail Design team to build the vision for how the product storytelling and experiences comes to life in store.
You will be obsess the end-to-end consumer experience across Nike Direct Store concepts. You will lead and drive end-to-end Retail Brand marketing plans that serve the consumer from ideation to execution in partnership with key team members across the organization. Coordinating across teams to drive efficiency + alignment. You will craft and deliver Retail Brand Marketing plans centered on consumer engagement that aligned with city brand + business priorities, anchored in clear KPIs. The candidate should have an understanding of analytics, New York city Marketplace, and previous experience on working on retail Brand marketing function.
You’ll be part of the NYC Retail Brand Marketing Team (focusing on Nike Direct) along with a variety of functional teammates and partners across NYC & NA. You will be an integral part of the team identifying industry shifts across retail, sport, and culture and then partnering cross-functionally & cross-categorically to shape how we build deep connections with our consumers and communities.
A TYPICAL DAY/WEEK LOOKS LIKE
Partner cross-functionally (Retail Brand, Visual Merchandising & Styling, Brand Management, NA Merchandising team, NA /NYC Retail Marketing team) and with City Brand team.
Lead all details of owned projects/initiatives including communication strategy, preparing and presenting briefs process, store mapping, managing program overview, work back schedules, creative approvals, project budget, briefing agency, distribution and recap.
Support team with O2O marketing programs including but not limited to: integrated digital/physical Retail brand initiatives and in-store experiences & events.
Provide short and medium-term goal planning; synthesize program results & best practices to increase effectiveness
Partner across store team and merchandising to implement commerce capabilities and integrate into the overarching City Brand strategy
WHAT YOU BRING
BA/BS Degree preferred
5+ years of work experience in retail brand / digital / brand marketing or related experience in marketing (preferably in retail).
Deep knowledge of the NYC market and Retail Brand Marketing.
A strong understanding of the sport consumer, shopping behaviors, retail journeys and retail trends
A passion for product and storytelling
Passionate about Marketing and Retail Brand Marketing.
Excellent oral and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and making persuasive presentations to leadership.
Proactive, accountable & goal-oriented, turning strategy into action, managing multiple projects on various levels with different and converging timelines.
