WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As our Facility Maintenance (FM) Operations Manager within the North America Asset Care (NAAC) team, you’ll manage and maintain all material handling equipment and facility assets within the distribution center. You’ll create, maintain, and evolve a best-in-class culture and place to work. You’ll collaborate with senior management across the organization to understand their direction, objectives, and customer service requirements. You’ll communicate effectively across the business matrix to maintain a working knowledge of department functions. You’ll supervise and administer a staff of FM leaders and technicians, including hiring and problem-solving. You’ll continually develop department credibility and seek feedback from the site business partners to ensure the desired level of customer service is being provided. You’ll maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory bodies, including but not limited to OSHA.
You’ll oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all facility systems, including electrical, mechanical and material handling equipment. You’ll ensure operational readiness of the conveyor systems, sorters, and automation platforms, and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders, asset history, and KPIs. You’ll develop and manage annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets, support capital project planning, vendor coordination, and facility upgrades, and analyze maintenance trends to implement data-driven solutions that reduce downtime and extend asset life. You’ll ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and other regulatory standards, lead safety initiatives, audits, and training programs, and maintain documentation for inspections, permits, and certifications.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You’ll work closely with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to align maintenance priorities with business goals and serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, emergency response, and facility-related communications. You’ll support the capital management of the facility while optimizing the performance of the FM team by providing the highest level of service at the lowest possible cost. You’ll support ad-hoc projects as required to continue to develop the capabilities of the facility and the overall FM team. You’ll be responsible for recruiting, coaching, and developing an extraordinary FM team. You’ll drive continuous improvement throughout the FM team resulting in improved reliability and performance at decreasing costs.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
The primary goal is to ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to maximize customer satisfaction. An Inventory Point Guard can work with limited direct supervision and able to communicate with leadership. Responsibilities included are to review and resolve inventory exceptions, and to distribute daily reports to inventory control and cross functional operations leadership. An
Inventory Point Guard may also act as an informal resource to peers as needed.
WHAT YOU BRING
• Requires 3 years relevant work experience inventory related problem solving in a distribution center environment
• Knowledge of warehouse management system platforms and associated devices (ex. RF gun, releasing cycle counts’ tasks, DCMS, SAP, etc.)
• Intermediate knowledge of computer systems to track and record inventory, including intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Moderate decision-making and strong problem-solving skills, attentive to details, work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines required.
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Able to work independently in fast-paced environment and interact comfortably with all levels of personnel, including management.

Qualifications:
This position is responsible for monitoring State, Federal and Local regulations to ensure Nike is actively involved in emerging issues and poised to address new and modified regulations. Additionally, the EHS Manager supports all site management teams. This position is part of a larger global EHS and Resilience team at Nike.
3-5+ years practical experience with health and safety compliance at a large global company with world class safety programs. Distribution center experience is a plus.
Significant operational knowledge of PMVs and safety requirements.
Ability to communicate to all levels of employees in a clear, concise and persuasive manner
Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Detailed knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations and their state equivalents as well as other applicable industry environmental, health, and safety standards.
Demonstrated ability to write, develop and implement all facets of successful and sustainable EHS programs.
Demonstrated ability to manage a team of 3-4 direct reports.
Proficiency in conducting root cause safety investigations.
Demonstrated ability to manage EHS data and related documents and compliance records.
Demonstrated teamwork and ability to develop relationships at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing and train personnel live and by use of computer-based systems.
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
Safety certification (CIH or CSP) is preferred
Responsibilities:
Manages the direction and execution of EHS programs and policies.
Engage actively and daily with distribution operations with a focus on hazard recognition, safety observations and coaching.
Support all aspects of incident oversight including response, reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, identification of corrective and preventative action, and publication of safety alerts as required.
Maintains a current working knowledge of EHS regulations and laws. Provide technical and regulatory compliance expertise and support.
Continuously drives improvement in health and safety measures.
Assist in drafting, preparing required plans and appropriate facility operating procedures.
Serves as facility contact for federal, state, and regional health, safety, and environmental agencies.
Support and facilitate internal inspections, audits, and self-assessments. Assists operations in addressing audit recommendations.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and after normal business hours and/or weekends based on business needs.
