WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You’ll be responsible for creating original and trend-driven designs for Nike Kids Sportswear Apparel. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of graphics and composition, and the ability to translate design concepts into commercially viable on trend designs. The ideal candidate will be a highly creative problem solver who brings engagement and curiosity to the kids apparel graphics.
Concepting and building out narratives that will inspire and influence our consumer. To accomplish this, you will collaborate with your design, development and business partners to ensure all details are recorded and delivered as presented. From trims to print applications and cost considerations you will be challenged by a wide range of responsibilities and experiences. Accountabilities include but are not limited to speaking with athletes, consumers, external partners and contributing to the creative vision of Nike Kids. Leading team meetings and cascading critical information to ensure the project hits all deadlines. Presenting design concepts and seasonal initiatives to internal and external audiences while always keeping to Nike Kids best interests.

The Sr. Technical Designer coordinates the fit and construction from initial concept through to commercialization and production for assigned styles to lead to on time development and delivery according to critical dates, product specification, and sustainability, performance and profitability goals.
The Sr. Technical Designer will also create and revise Tech Packs for assigned styles and ensure all appropriate development documentation is maintained including product specs and prototype notes. In addition, the Sr. Technical Designer will execute fit and construction standards for a team or product group to ensure consistency. You will track and facilitate prototyping for styles; identify and address key issues and challenges in construction/manufacturing and plans accordingly to deliver proven and tested product. Additionally, you will monitor and communicate progress and challenges throughout the product testing process to meet product integrity requirements.
In this role you will also be responsible for the Technical Design of assigned styles product in Women’s Apparel. Working with Design, Product Management and Product Creation Center (Asia) on tailoring the product to the specific consumer needs.
You will report to the Technical Design Manager.

WHAT YOU BRING
Associate’s degree or 2-4 years orequivalent combination of education, experience and or training.
Proficiency with MIRO and Air Table, whiteboarding and database tools.
Adobe LMS and Articulate Rise360 experience is a plus.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite programs. (InDesign, Illustrator, Premier)
Strong communication and presentation skills.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In your day-to-day work you will collaborate with your teammates and technical subject matter experts to support creation and facilitation of new and existing training programs and plans based on technical priorities and needs. You will play a supporting role in launching new technical training courses and experiences created by the team, including instructor-led classroom, eLearning, virtual, and immersion training. The goal is to aid our Footwear learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and proficiencies in an effective and engaging manner that best supports organizational and business objectives.
Help prepare, deliver, and assess class learning experiences.
Support instructional exercises and activities in classes and programs.
Support developing criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training and developing plans for the required updates.
Responsible for taking action to update and improve content and experiences with oversight from team leads.
