Like a starting five on the court, you’ll team up with four other top creatives (designer, social specialist, producer and narrative) - each bringing their own strengths - to craft game-changing content that captures the energy of sport and the soul of Paris.
You, a brilliant writer and strategic thinker will report directly into the Senior Manager, Digital Creative Studio, Paris.

You'll also work very closely with other teams across our Paris/France marketing

organisation to ensure your concepts answers their brief. For this, you will need to clearly communicate your ideas to various internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.

You’ll actively work across the Brand Creative network often collaborating with Global & EMEA teammates. Each project will also give you the chance to work with a broad spectrum of creative agencies and individuals, over time this will allow you to build a great creative network and be exposed to a wider range of creative practices and process.

You are a brilliant copywriter and strategic thinker with an obsession for crafting compelling stories and ideas, you’ll be comfortable writing long form copy, captions, content scripts and campaign lines.As a creative keen to leverage that passion to reimagine the future of sport and make athletes’ dreams real, you will constantly be looking for creating, and sharing innovative, social first ideas, concepts and copy.

You will be open minded, forward thinking, and a willing collaborator, centered on creating best in class work.


Essential requirements:

  • Experience in a corporate or agency environment, preferably as a strategist/copywriter for a major retailer, e-commerce company or digital communications agency.
  • Experience writing consumer-facing, creative, compelling marketing content, including digital communications.
  • Expert command of the English languages (including spelling, grammar and punctuation).
  • Ability to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands and changes.
  • A clear passion for and understanding of Paris sport & youth culture.
  • Proven experience collaborating effectively with multiple functions, both within and outside of the creative discipline.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON


The purpose of the Brand Creative Digital Studio is to fuel our wider Nike ecosystem with brilliant creative. You will be working on marketing and creative briefs that deliver against our Nike offense. With a focus on powering our @NikeParis social and digital ecosystem, you’ll also work with our EMEA and Global partners to fuel them with industry leading ideas and stories.

Your copy will be read by millions of consumers and athletes across the City & EMEA geo, so it will need to align with the Nike Brand Voice, in-house style guides and seasonal directives.

  • You will primarily obsess our @nikeParis channel, writing copy that brings our Nike offense to life through a Paris youth culture & sport lens.
  • Depending on Paris France marketing plans you may step in to craft copy other key marketing output, including city moment campaigns such as product launches, partnerships and community opportunities or pinnacle seasonal work like the Euros, World Cup, Champions League.
  • With the support of the Senior Manager you’ll be the one ensuring we speak with an authentic Nike Voice to our consumer in all communications. You'll communicate and present copy to team leaders. You'll actively gain knowledge and experience regarding Nike's philosophy, products and trends, as well as the consumer and overall marketplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide long-term visioning and strategic thought partnership alongside cross-functional partners to develop a strategic, long-term Athlete Integration offense for Nike’s top-tier Global athletes.
  • Manage a team and budget that will deliver the overall Sports Marketing Athlete Integration offense, aligning vision, strategy and plans for top-tier athletes to help enhance our contractual rights, to strengthen our connection with the consumer, and to fuel business growth.
  • Ensure our athletes are an integral part of the product creation process, creating a 360 degree feedback loop to help drive innovation and product excellence.
  • Partner with the Sports Marketing Athlete Services team and the Sport Categories to create a strategy for comprehensive athlete plans, inclusive of both Athlete Integration and Athlete Service opportunities.
  • Proactively and strategically align our top-tier athletes against Nike’s purpose offense – people, planet, play.
  • Lead a high-performing team of individuals who have deep knowledge and relationships within their respective Sport Categories.
