WHAT YOU WILL DO

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Routine work

• Provides engineering and troubleshooting support with the goal to increase operational efficiencies and minimize maintenance expenses.
• Coach technicians on troubleshooting technical problems.
• Provides engineering support to both corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Provide support on installation, modification, fabrication, testing, servicing and repairs of equipment instruments that comply to site change control procedures, good engineering practices and GMP.
• Collect and analyse data and follow up with recommendation to improve equipment’s reliability and reduce equipment failures.
• Develop/ improve maintenance programme to maintain plant assets. Guide, review and modify the PM to improve equipment reliability.
• Ensure smooth equipment operation by close monitoring of equipment condition. Carryout RCA to improve product quality and equipment reliability.
• Prepare Annual Trend Analysis Reports, documentation by collecting analysing and summarising information and trends. Manage the reliability equipment database.
• Perform maintenance activities and analyse reliability data to improve equipment health and performance.

Project work

• Manages maintenance related projects, CAPA Actions, schedule, costs and quality utilizing proper controls.
• Ensures that projects deliverables are met and all associated documentation is established
• Provides engineering support in the scoping, development, execution and documentation of upgrade projects.

Others

• Performs job assignments by Supervisor pertaining to equipment/ instrument or system or documentation or housekeeping.
• Development of technical procedures associated with areas of responsibilities
• Participate in HSE, Business Compliance, cGMP and all other compliance related matters, where applicable.
• Supervise and oversee Third Party Contractors, where applicable
• Able to influence stakeholders or business leaders and to build trust throughout the organisation.
• Any other duties as and when assigned by the Managers.

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics, Instrumentation and Control, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering
• 3 - 5 years of related experience in maintenance function, preferably in API manufacturing plant
• Good knowledge of cGMP and safety regulations of pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrates a knowledge of Engineering and Compliance standards
• Demonstrates excellent problem solving skills ie provides solutions which are practical for implementation.
• Able to properly assess the situation and understand when to escalate to a higher levels
• Knowledge in root cause analysis, able to analyse information from a variety of sources to make sound decisions
• Ability to work independently
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Good knowledge on Failure Modes of Equipment Reliability Processes

Production Engineering​ (PE) Intern

As part of the Production team in Singapore, the intern will be able to learn the different manufacturing process, operational systems and activities that support pharmaceutical manufacturing. He/she will be expose to the various process, systems and activities associated with cGMP manufacturing operations within IPT.

The PE intern key responsibilities are as follows:

• Assist in the management of cGMP documentation
• Assist in conducting daily tier meetings between operators, engineers and managers
• Collect and analyze operational data to drive productivity
• Work on continuous improvement activities that help to improve the current operation processes and systems
• Actively participate in group meeting discussions and continuous improvement. Collaborate with colleagues whenever possible to achieve both operational and project goals.

Job Requirements:

Critical Responsibilities but not limited to:

Authors protocols, reports and other associated documentation related to a new product introduction. Demonstrates strength in technical writing.

• Is involved in/supports the design and execution of small/ full scale experiments using appropriate methodology and/or simulations for products/ processes to evaluate the impact of proposed changes to validated equipment/ processes. Proactively identify solutions with support from seniors or direct supervisor to address issues that arose duringexperiment/evaluation.

• Provides technical guidance in support of site and divisional capital projects and new facility start-up activities. Ensures that the process design is well thought-out and robust for routine manufacturing.

• Provide technical input independently to the process design to ensure its fit for purpose for routine manufacturing. Responsible to transfer the knowledge of the project and facility to operations colleagues.

• Provides support to product, equipment andmanufacturing/cleaningprocesses in response to deviations/ product complaints/ adverse events to identify point of occurrence, root cause and corrective/ preventative actions.

• Provides support for compliance activities such as audit and regulatory support. Monitors and addresses potential regulatory risks during various phases of the lifecycle process as part of a team.

What will you do in this role:

• Understand divisional and site business system requirements for CIAM services.
• Must have experience in defining CIAM platform requirements, designing technical solutions and executing on those designs into a highly available, fault tolerant environment.

• Customize CIAM product features to fulfil requirements that cannot be met with standard out-of-box functionality

What should you have:

• Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.
• 7+ years of experience with implementation and troubleshooting with CIAM technologies like Ping Identity
• Experience in administration of user and role provisioning, connectors, workflow, certificate management, session management, and encryption technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and demonstrable ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Well versed in SAML, OpenID, OAuth and other industry standard authentication / authorization solutions

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in a technical field including Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Minimum 2 years of technical experience in oil and gas or semiconductor industries preferred
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools such as fishbone analysis, 5 WHY, logic fault tree and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of data analysis and familiarity with use of statistical software such as Minitab is preferred
• Good verbal communication skill and technical writing skill
• Attention to detail
