Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Evaluates, analyzes, diagnoses and troubleshoots technical equipment problems via telephone or at customer site.
• Ensures equipment enhances customer production.
• Repairs and updates equipment at customer facility.
• Repairs of system level problems (which have multiple causes and for which no standard procedures exist) are based on engineer’s technical knowledge, education, training and certification
• Engineer’s may access and determine the problems existing in customers' processes such as chemical leaks or contamination, and as a result may recommend shutdown of customer fab due to unsafe conditions

Minimum Qualifications

• BS or above degree in electronic engineering , physics or any related in semiconductor.
• NCG ~ 3 years of work experience is required.
• Good communication skill in English

Qualifications

• Provide algorithm technical support for escalations in various of product life cycle phases onsite.
• Interacting with Korea business unit, GSS (Global Service Support) and customers to address issues and investigate solutions.
• Analyzing the signal and noise characteristics of current and emerging IC yield limiting defects, formulating algorithmic solutions, and validating them via simulation and prototyping.
• Investigating feasibility of advance algorithm for next generation product through collaboration with technology and system architect group.
• Provide prototype algorithm solution for special customer engagement project at customer site. Working with product system engineering team to define the algorithm performance specification and use it to guide the algorithm design and implementation.
• Act as the algorithm representative during system level hardware/software integration, trouble shooting. Participate in software quality assurance activities required by the software development process.
• Occasional (<=10%) travel to HQ is required

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degreein electrical engineering,computer sciences or physics with 3+ years of experience.
• Doctorate (Academic)in electrical engineering,computer sciences, physics and mathematics with 0+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in C/C++ is highly desirable, with a particular emphasis on C++.
• CUDA, solid MATLAB programming skills are plus.
• Solid theoretical background in signal/image processing and computer vision skills are desirable.
• Research and/or software development experience on Unix/Linux and Windows platform is required.
• Throughput optimization experience is desired.
• Background in pattern recognition, computational geometry and machine learning is a plus.

Installation Engineer

• Perform customer-site installation and acceptance testing of newly delivered systems
• Perform customer-site retrofit for previously installed systems
• Conduct site surveys, pre-installation, installation, troubleshooting, acceptance, training and hand-off of products
• Serve as customer contact on Technical and Service-related matters

Qualifications

Installation Engineer

• Bachelor's Degree inMechanical/Electrical/ElectronicEngineering or equivalent
• Experience in Servicing or installing semicon capital equipment ire preferred
• Knowledge and experience in Semiconductor Wafer Manufacturing, specifically steppers or Metrology Management preferred
• High level of technical and troubleshooting skills

• This position involves managing the Archerseriesequipment and providing support to Samsung Electronics, our client.
• Implements detailed customer installation plans.
• Responsible for providing technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA products in customer fabrication facilities.
• Makes presentations on all aspects of products.
• Assists sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications.
• Work closely with many organizations including engineering, sales and marketing within KLA and with customer engineers.
• Conduct new product introduction projects(e.g.)product characterization, alpha testing, beta testing and pilot tool support in the ramp phase.
• Provide escalation support to onsite field service engineer; leading and coordinating remote/local troubleshooting.
• Perform experiments to characterize tool/subcomponent performance and develop recipes to model applications.
• Provide application support and training to customers.
• Applications engineer will manage in-house customer demonstrations and head-to-head (H2H) activities at customer facilities.

Minimum Qualifications

• MS or above degrees in Engineering, Physics, Material Science or Electronics.
• At least 7 years (Bachelor’s degree) / 4 years (Master's degree) / NCG (Ph.D) related work experience.
• Overlay, photolithography related backgrounds are required.
• Good communication skill in English.
