Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate and maintain software features for the large semiconductor product. Interact with multi site team members (India & USA) along with non-software teams during different phases of software product life cycle.

• Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
• Ensuring that detailed designs, code, and unit tests, are consistent, robust, future-proof and scalable.
• Understand and make design and architectural improvements on existing software.
• Participate in requirements definition and review process. Provide Technical assessment of the impact of any changes to product requirements.
• Providing technical expertise to the estimation process as input to the project plan
• In conjunction with the Technical Manager, identify, highlight, review and mitigate technical risks

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer science / Electronics / Electrical or equivalent field with 6+ years of experience with large software systems and/or semiconductor products

Master's degree in Computer science / Electronics / Electrical or equivalent field with 4+ years of experience with large software systems and/or semiconductor products

• Strong development experience on Windows Platform
• Proven experience in using UML, OOP, and OOD design methodologies is highly relevant
• Should possess strong fundamentals on Data structures and algorithms
• Good understanding of using STL, boost library is a plus.,
• Good understanding of multi-threading , multicore programming concepts is must
• Trouble-shooting experience will be added advantage
• VC++ Windows experience will be plus.
• Creative, result-oriented, disciplined, highly motivated, and able to work well individually and as part of global team (India, USA, field etc) and understand all phases of software engineering

Researches and converts technical information into manual and/or web-based documents for non-technical and technical users. Conducts review meetings and discussions independently with engineering and technical staff.

- Support testing and validation of new procedures and methods. Improves steps and develop new content if needed.

- Follows documentation best practices, formats and templates. Learns new software, tools and techniques for high quality documentation. Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards. Recommends formats responsive to technical and customer requirements.

• Experience to explode or trace assemblies in Adobe Illustrator.
• Create an interactive illustration with appropriate views to help customer locate the components in their product.
• Create a product structure for assemblies based upon the input received from PSOs & ENOVIA.
• Create and update assembly and FRU drawings as per the engineering changes in reference to the change request.
• Understand the assembly and disassembly sequence of components.
• Complete tasks/projects assigned by Manager to make ensure availability of part information before first ship of the product.
• Handling US/other region stakeholders for receiving inputs.
• Collaborate with all stakeholders to provide status of the on-going projects and reflect the feedback.
• Update Parts information based upon replacement and superseding state of the parts for customer usage.
• Review & update discrepancies received from Product support and field to determine corrections needed to address the issue.
