Job responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis and exploration using SQL queries to extract insights and patterns
  • Develop and implement data quality standards and best practices for data enrichment and analysis
  • Design and create data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Adobe Analytics, and Google Analytics
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data solutions that drive business objectives and enable data-driven decision making
  • Design and implement complex ETL logic to transform, clean, and enrich source data in real time
  • Validate data accuracy and integrity using technical tools
  • Create high-quality documentation and host presentations and trainings to encourage utilization of data solutions

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficiency with SQL and understanding of SQL database concepts
  • Experience with data transformation and modeling tools such as Databricks and dbt Labs
  • Experience with structured data ingestion, transformation, and consumption for analytics, personalization, or machine learning
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Familiarity with Customer Data Platforms and creation of audiences or derived data features
  • Familiarity with analytics visualization tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • Experience in Data Engineering or similar role within a fast-paced environment
