As a Control Manager Associate in JPMorgan's Texas Plano branch, you will be responsible for the overall risk management and compliance assurance of our technology and products. You will collaborate with various stakeholders such as the Technology Delivery, Technology Operations, and Vendors teams to ensure that risk management practices are adequately implemented, and that all controls are operating as designed. You will also be playing a key role in setting up a strong internal control environment by carrying out control design reviews on applications, processing and services, and working closely with IT Audit. Your key performance objectives will include developing and maintaining control risk matrices, enabling the Technology and Vendor teams to understand and implement risk frameworks, and monitoring the effective functioning and implementation of control assessments and tests. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing risk assessment questionnaires, reviewing incident reports and applying appropriate action plans. You will be a critical member of the Technology team and bolster our controls' development and delivery. The ideal Control Manager Associate has a minimum of 3 years’ experience in internal control risk management and an in-depth understanding of the technology industry. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are integral to this role, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of the US National Institute of Standards and Technology CyberSecurity (NIST CSF).
