As a Transaction Processing Analyst in Security Services Operations, you'll provide operational support within our Corporate Investment Bank. You will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of transaction management for clients are completed on time and exceptions and client inquiries are resolved. You will also provide subject matter expertise to clients. Additional responsibilities may include managing daily regulatory reporting tasks and remediation activities, as well as process improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Review of legal documentation and input of key parameters from the legal documentation into the systems of JP Morgan.
• Identify issues and co-ordinate with the relevant functions internally (eg: credit, legal etc) for prompt resolution on disputed points within set time-frame parameters
• Working with key partners in legal, business, operations and technology, contribute towards the development of an efficient operating framework
• Working closely with regional Legal operations Department (which has the overall responsibility for Master Agreement Negotiation and Transactions), the business and other stakeholders.
• Productivity and Quality will be the measure of performance for this role. Producing good quality work is therefore paramount to the success of the candidate in the organization

As the Vice President within the Wholesale Lending Reporting Control team, you will lead through a period of change, influencing and building partnerships with the SEC and Regulatory teams as well as Accounting/Legal Policy, Line of Business Product Controllers, Wholesale Loan Operations, and Risk professionals. You will have the opportunity to leverage advanced technologies for problem-solving and productivity enhancement, focusing on providing "best in class" reporting to both internal and external clients.

Job responsibilities

• Develop criteria to evaluate MDRM level logic for external reporting of loans impacting filings such as Y-14Q, Y-9C, Call Report, SEC, CRA, FDIC 370, FRB pledge programs, etc.,
• Develop a deep understanding of credit systems and processes in order to extract insights from existing data while identifying and recommending enhancements to improve data quality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct impact assessment and tactical/strategic implementation of new regulatory reporting instructions affecting wholesale loan disclosures
• Produce accurate, error-free analysis and reporting. Understand business drivers and ensure that analyses are appropriate and well-structured
• Provide support for occasional ad hoc requests and routine reporting associated with wholesale lending products
• Manage projects and initiatives related to regulatory classification of loans and unfunded credit commitments
• Advocate for and identify opportunities to drive automation across wholesale lending external reporting and control function
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Product Controllers, Operations, Credit Risk, Audit, Accounting/Regulatory Policy, and Technology teams
• Represent Wholesale Lending Firm-wide External Reporting Controller team through engagement with senior stakeholders, regulators and other external parties

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• 6+ years of experience in financial control, regulatory external reporting, or related roles, with a strong background in the banking or financial services industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex and sensitive issues to management in a concise and persuasive manner
• Ability to synthesize large amounts of data and formulate appropriate conclusions and train others to this level of understanding and actionable results
• Ability to build partnerships at all levels across functions to promote collaboration and drive decision making
• Flexibility to work under pressure to meet changing work requirements and strict deadlines - while maintaining attention to detail and a controls mindset
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with an ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Proficiency in data profiling and data analysis toolset/visualization e.g., Alteryx, Xceptor, AWS Databricks, SQL or similar query language, and dashboard creation using Tableau
• Ability to leverage advanced technologies for problem-solving and enhancing productivity, including development and use of LLMs

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare executive presentations to package and present business strategy, performance projections, and trends.
• Design monthly and quarterly business management and financial reporting packages.
• Coordinate deliverables with business managers, finance, project managers, and other F&BM teams.
• Analyze large amounts of data to create impactful analysis for WLS strategy development.
• Create executive-level presentations using PitchPro+.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related area.

• Experience and knowledge of complex syndicated lending, including asset-based lending and equipment financing.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to tell the story on initiatives.

As a Legal Entity Controller within the J.P. Morgan Securities Legal Entity Controller team, you will lead a team of accounting professionals, providing expertise in project management, Swiss financial regulatory reporting and general accounting matters. You will also provide technical support on complex subject, and partner with operational functional peers (e.g., credit, operations, CFO, compliance, treasury). The role offers interaction with different regions and exposure to management. It will be based in Geneva, reporting to the PB EMEA Controller.

Job responsibilities:

• Able to lead strategic and complex projects, manage large data sets, understand data flows, and foster a culture of automation.
• Support the vision for the Global Private Bank Financial Reporting product and create a product road map based on this vision. Perform financial analysis and reviews, including income statement and balance sheet variance analysis, legal entity financial board pack reviews, and US financial regulatory reporting submissions.

• Strong knowledge of one of the following skills: accounting principles, financial regulatory reporting (e.g. capital and liquidity), and banking products is a plus.

• Working experience on Olympic and/or Temenos Banking Systems, ideally in a change management role and experience using financial reporting tools such as SAP, MS Office suite and business intelligence/automation tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Python, etc.

• Knowledge of the local Swiss financial regulatory reporting framework, ideally using the Fire platform

• Very good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Skills in stakeholder influencing, conflict resolution, organization, and time management

• Fluent in English.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Fluency in French is a plus.
• CPA title or equivalent is preferred.
