This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMC's review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and any other information relevant to a determination by JPMC that you demonstrate financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness for the position. Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration for this position. Your continued employment in this position would be contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements.
In addition, this position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. You will also look for opportunities to make customers lives easier by setting up self-service options and building relationships. Throughout the week, you will schedule time to review branch operations and share updated policy and procedures with branch employees. DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Design, develop, and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Take active role in code reviews to ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technology Lead, IT Consultant, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Technology Lead, IT Consultant, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with: designing and architecting an application applying various Application Architecture Principals and Design Patterns; developing software utilizing Java, J2EE, Spring and Spring Boot; using Apache Tomcat, Shell Scripting and Maven to resolve application dependencies; and developing user interface (UI) with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript, NodeJS, and Angular. This position requires three (3) years of experience with: developing software on a Microservices environment that deploys as a REST API in Kubernetes based Cloud environment; storing application data utilizing Spring JPA, Hibernate, Liquibase, and Oracle SQL; building applications that utilize JSON for data transfers between Applications & Services; and managing the project following Agile methodology Scrum using Jira and Confluence Tool. This position requires two (2) years of experience with: handling and displaying large volume of data as a grid using Ag-Grid library and UI component library; ensuring project quality and performance with exposure to Unit Testing Junit, Functional Testing, Performance Testing, and Regression Testing; Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment to Cloud (CICD) utilizing Jenkins, GIT, Docker, and Kubernetes; and security authentication/authorization using OAuth 2.0.
