Role Description
Trust Officer is responsible for administering trusts within the JP Morgan Chase Workplace Solutions trust companies – Global Shares Trustee Ireland Limited (GSTIL) and GS Trustee (UK) Limited (GSTUKL). They will work closely with Sales, Customer Relationship Management, Implementations, AML/KYC, Equity Plan Management, Tax Operations, and Reconciliations to manage the creation and operation of the individual trusts under these two entities.
Trust Officers are responsible for ensuring that GSTIL and GSTUKL fulfil their duties as trustee of individual trusts, and that these two entities meet fiduciary and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication, understanding of corporate structures and fiduciary responsibility, regulatory compliance expertise, ability to identify conflicts of interest, possess a detailed mindset thorough understanding of trust and equity plan management.

As a Summer Intern in Global Markets, you will engage in a stimulating environment, exploring our sophisticated financial solutions across asset classes.
What You Can Expect
We strongly encourage you to submit your application as early as possible as programs will close once positions are filled. The majority of Superdays are taking place between October and December. If successful, a matching process takes place in the February before you start, whereby you will take part in a selection of speed networking sessions with all available desks within Research. You will then be asked to rank order all desks, for which the desks will carry out the same process – we will then look to match desks with interns with the highest collective match.
You’ll support senior colleagues with important research, analysis and preparatory work. You will monitor markets, develop trade ideas, conduct portfolio reviews, and learn about the solutions and products we offer for clients to manage any market conditions. Your work and contributions will be valuable to the team from the start. Expert instructors and JPMorganChase professionals will teach you about our history, the scale and scope of our organization today and our ambitious plans for tomorrow. Morgan has a dedicated team of professionals servicing the structured product requirements of our clients. The team offers a broad range of innovative investor products, liability management and hedging solutions. J.P. Morgan offers a wide range of derivatives products to institutional investors, distributors, corporates and private investors.
Sales: our teams help corporate and institutional clients navigate the breadth of J.P. Morgan’s product offerings across Markets and Platform Services, focusing on matching the firm’s resources to our clients’ needs. The Sales community build relationships with clients and package tailor-made solutions that meet the needs of a wide array of clients.
