As a Vice President on the DACH M&A team, you will partner with colleagues in industry and product teams to originate and execute the full spectrum of corporate finance transactions including public takeovers, private buy-side and sell-side transactions and corporate carve-outs.

Job responsibilities

  • Act as the primary day-to-day client point of contact and lead banker on deals
  • Review and coordinate the analytic work of junior bankers to advance the marketing/execution process
  • Train junior bankers to enhance their skills and performance
  • Refine marketing and execution materials for maximum client impact
  • Oversee the creation of financial projection models.
  • Identify and manage all risks in a given deal
  • Liaise with other internal and external parties on transactions (e.g., lawyers, accountants, counterparties)
  • Lead client negotiations, Q&A processes, and management interviews

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Fluency in German
  • Relevant M&A Investment Banking experience and knowledge of German market
  • Outstanding financial analysis and modelling skills

As a Payments Corporate Sales Manager (PSM) within J.P.   • Review and assess sanctions risks presented under EU, OFAC and other EMEA sanctions programs in the context of Chase retail business. Ensuring that any risk is appropriately mitigated, documented and addressed, partnering with relevant (often senior) stakeholders within the business, Global Financial Crimes Compliance (“GFCC”), Line of Business Sanctions Officers and GSC.
  • Review and assess client’s sanctions related events such as blocked or rejected transactions, activity permissible under license, voluntary self-disclosures, or sanctions related enforcement action or significant negative media.
  • Support the business, GSC and GFCC in reviewing new business initiatives pertaining to Chase, leading the assessment of sanctions risks and screening initiatives.
