Job Summary:
As an Analyst or Associate in the Equity Derivatives Group - Delta 1 Trading Funding Solutions team, you will have the opportunity to build your Delta One and Equity Finance trading expertise while having from day-one a significant exposure to our clients. With your strong organisation and process automation skills, you will efficiently manage the daily client operations and associated production controls. You will apply your mathematical skills to price complex derivative products and progressively build your understanding of the financial markets mechanics to generate trade ideas and contribute to optimise our hedging strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute and hedge the secondary events linked to client trades, through daily interactions with the sales force and clients
  • Actively manage the desk’s inventory
  • Optimise client trades, identify and execute trading opportunities in the inter-dealer broker markets
  • Develop workflow and analytical tactical tools to support decision-making, automate processes and reduce operational risks
  • Process key controls linked to the daily operations: profit and losses estimates and control, equities inventory & corporate actions follow-up
  • Develop your knowledge of equity financing markets and generate hedging optimisations ideas based on quantitative and qualitative analysis

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • You have advanced Python coding skills and are eager to apply them to practical data analysis & process automation cases, generating an immediate impact
  • You have a strong mathematical and/or economics background, and a good understanding of equity derivative products pricing principles, with a prior experience in Delta One or Equity Finance trading
  • You are attentive to detail and have a proven ability to perform with a high degree of autonomy, reliability and humility in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • You are eager to face clients and will give your best to provide them with a first-class service
  • You are curious and passionate about the inner workings of international finance, macroeconomics and financial regulation

The France FIG (Financial Institutions Group) Payments Team is a strategic sales and relationship management focused group that is responsible for owning and managing relationships with FI (Financial Institution) and Correspondent Banking located in France. The team works to effectively deliver the firm’s Payments products (treasury services, merchant services, liquidity, working capital & trade, commercial card, transactional Foreign Exchange (FX), escrow, etc.) to our client base. The client base requirements are significantly changing and so is the global landscape for payments. There are new business models which require a world-class global banking partner to support their growth/international expansion and there are traditional companies being forced to evaluate their approach to customers and payments.

Job Summary

As a Vice President in the Financial Institution Group (FIG) Sales Manager role, you will be responsible for covering Correspondent Banking Clients with Payments. Your role as a Sales Executive will involve maintaining and expanding the team's portfolio in accordance with business plans. This will be achieved through the sale of treasury products to our target Correspondent Banking Clients. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate and form partnerships across J.P. Morgan to enhance product and service delivery. Furthermore, you will be tasked with developing, maintaining, and enhancing relationships with our clients

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve new business goals, including the annual sales plan at target margins by identifying prospects/opportunities, developing the approach/calling plans with prospective clients.
  • Build a pipeline of potential new business wins, documenting status and assumptions throughout the sales process.
  • Maximize profitability with clients through appropriate pricing of new business wins, product extensions and cross-selling other JPM products.
  • Partner with Payments Executives to drive the execution of the sales strategy, to achieve new business sales objectives, maintain current revenue streams, expand market share and increase the share of wallet with target clients.
  • Work on compelling financial and market analysis to support proposals for new business & support the team through ad hoc project work and analysis.
  • Manage client on-boarding processes, including Compliance deep dive when client industry requires and support Know You Client (KYC) / Anti Mony Laundering (AML) responsibilities including on KYC renewals and management of the compliance enquiry process with clients.
  • Own responsibility of preparation of client account plans, senior officer briefing memos and portfolio management reporting.
  • Implement and supporting ongoing client strategy and co-coordinating cross-sell opportunities with other parts of the Bank
  • Raising and escalating business issues such as risk, legal and compliance and managing resolution.

Required qualifications, skills and capabilities

  • Able to demonstrate the relevant level of experience in a financial services sales role focused on providing payments services.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deepen senior Correspondent Banking client relationships.
  • Organized and disciplined with the ability to handle multiple priorities and to act with own initiative.
  • Must evidence robust leadership, presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage risk dynamics and support team to manage risks, work with internal partners and clients to implement balanced risk/reward relationship.
  • Demonstrated ability to work across cultures with internal teams and external clients.
  • Ambitious, with a "can-do" attitude with focus on delivery and execution.
  • Must evidence both verbal and written French language skills in a business environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

You will be expected to collaborate across various teams to devise strategies for clients, construct comprehensive financial models, analyze market data, and create client presentations.

  • Cover the French FIG market
  • Keep abreast of key market and regulatory developments and establishing knowledge of the target client base and relevant market dynamics
  • Complete complex analytical exercises including advanced valuation modelling
  • Support the preparation of presentation books, management presentations, board materials, memorandums and other presentation materials for use in M&A and capital markets transactions and other strategic client dialogue
  • Support due diligence, document preparation, negotiation, etc. in the context of transactions execution and liaise with relevant counterparts at the client / other advisers (accounting, legal, etc.)
  • Provide training, coaching and mentoring of junior colleagues

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficient analytical, accounting, financial analysis and modelling skills
  • Multiple years of investment banking or Transaction Services experience
  • Solid communication and project management skills
  • Experience in dealing with clients and other transactional advisers
  • Willingness to develop and ability to learn quickly
  • Great team player with excellent organisational skills and a rigorous eye for detail
  • Good technology skills with superior Excel and PowerPoint skills and ability to quickly learn new software applications
  • Fluent in French and English

  • Master's Degree or equivalent
  • Preference for candidates with FIG experience
