Qualifications:

Bachelor degree, preferably with Industrial Engineering or equivalent 10+yrs related experience from manufacturing industry Familiarity with production system & processes, quality management, cost control, etc. Strong logical analysis ability (data interpretation, problem breakdown) Excellent communication and coordination skills in both English & Mandarin (cross-departmental promotion) High pressure resistance (handling multiple tasks in parallel andemergencies).

Overseeing the horizontal injection operations at Jiangmen plant. Manages production technicians, mold change technicians, and maintenance personnel to ensure efficient machine performance, quality output, and adherence to preventive maintenance (PM) schedules. Ensures safety, productivity, and continuous improvement within his scope.

Production Management

• Monitor daily production schedules and ensure on-time delivery of targets.
• Optimize machine utilization and efficiency (OEE).
• Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for injection molding processes.

Team Leadership

• Directly supervise production technicians, mold change technicians, and maintenance staff.
• Conduct training, performance reviews, and skill development for team members.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.

Technical Maintenance

• Oversee and ensure timely execution of preventive maintenance (PM) plans for all horizontal injection machines.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and coordinate with maintenance staff or external vendors as needed.
• Maintain records of machine downtime, root causes, and corrective actions.

Quality & Process Improvement

• Work with quality teams to address defects and non-conformities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, 5S) to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

Reporting & Communication

• Report daily production status, issues, and KPIs to William Yeung.
• Collaborate with planning, engineering, and quality departments to resolve cross-functional challenges.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Diploma or higher inMechanical/ManufacturingEngineering or related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in injection molding operations.
  • At least 5 years in a supervisory role managing technicians and maintenance teams.
• Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of horizontal injection molding machines (e.g., Engel, Haitian, Sumitomo).
  • Familiarity with mold setup, process optimization, and preventive maintenance.
  • Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP/MES systems.

• Lead QE function within production teams to ensure customer and regulatory requirements are met along the quality system.

• Manage plastic injection process and oversee quality relating quality issues.

• Use Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA), 8D, 5 whys, Fish Bone Diagram, Risk Analysis, or other appropriate quality tools to define and manage risk or identify root cause of failure.

• Lead the resolution of quality issues related to non-conformance reports, customer complaints, regulatory actions, etc. Support CAPA investigations and related corrective and preventive actions.

• Assist in development, review and approval of process and equipmentvalidation/qualifications.Develop, review and improve inspection plans, standard work sheet and product drawings, QCCL

• Lead continuous improvement activities. Support Kaizen activities and re-work/scrapreduction.

• College diploma or above, engineering major.

• Good knowledge of statistical techniques such as Cpk, GR&R.

• 5 years and above of quality experience.

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as plastic injection moulding, metal stamping, die casting, etc.

• Risk management implementation per automotive equivalent standard.

• Good written English.
