hybrid / Portland, OR. Join us and you’llhave the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state of the art manufacturing facilities. You’ll be accountable forand technical quality of challenging engineering tasks, as yougain familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.  You’ll also provide on-site assistance during startup, coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team willproduce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting, and power plans.

You’ll also assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process, interacting directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site.You and your team will work closely with client owners in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.

Jacobs is seeking Staff Archaeologists to support a variety of projects in Northern California. This position provides cultural resources support for planning, engineering, and construction services to commercial clients. We offer flexible hours and benefits, and this position is available as either depending on candidate availability and organizational needs:

• part-time, on-call (without benefits), or
• part-time at 21+ hours per week (with benefits), or
• full-time (with benefits)

The archaeologist career path provides the opportunity to work on projects that require compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Archaeological Resources Protection Act (ARPA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), and state regulations. All work will be conducted under the guidance of senior cultural resources staff.

Senior Electrical Engineer,you’ll have a passion for contributing to projects that enable the heart of our clients’ manufacturing.

Join us and you willhave the chance to work on projects including semiconductor manufacturing and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.You willoversee designer work, provide team technical leadership, perform quality reviews of design packages, and assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process. You’ll also interact directly with the client, owner, and contractors to assist construction on site.Your responsibilities will include engineering and design oversight for facility power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, and low voltage communications systems in some of the most complex industrial facilities on the planet. You and the other members of your team will work closely with client owners in a fast paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents.

With your solid understanding of all phases of construction document production and the relationship between drawings and specifications, you will prepare technical specifications and documents for bidding and construction and will be our Electrical discipline lead or Quality Control reviewer in project meetings. You will participate in project proposals and will suggest solutions to our clients to problems they didn’t even knew they had.
