Your impact

Our Program Management Team acting as the Owners Rep is looking to add aQA Auditor/Inspectorwho is highly collaborative and capable of executing and administering QA responsibilities on multiple concurrent projects for our client (NYCHA) through all phases of delivery. Based inLong Island City, NY, you’ll be a point of accountability to provide comprehensive QA oversight and compliance, audits, analysis, documentation, and reporting required during planning/design, construction, and closeout. During these phases you’ll coordinate with and advise the Project Managers on compliance matters to ensure PMO QA task compliance and /AE/CM/GC compliant with their QA/QC obligations and are well versed and adhering to their contractual reporting and document controls requirements in eBuilder, document control standards, and evaluations.


Responsibilities

  • Perform Pre-Site Visits
  • Schedules /coordinate site visit with PM/CM team members
  • Reviews eBuilder management interface utilizing QA matrix to assess and document PMO, AE, CM, GC contract compliance including but not limited to processes, documents, schedule, SSP, daily logs, toolbox talks, etc.
  • Confirms/corroborates review items found in Pre-Site Visit review.
  • Confirms contractual site documents are on site and current.
  • Performs NYCHA CSQ Inspectors responsibilities as outlined in the CPD Procedures Manual including Safety.
  • Meets with CM/GC to review Pre-Site Visit checklist and assists in resolving found issues.
  • Post Visit Report
  • Utilizes eBuilder Forms/Action items to document site findings and providestimeframefor resolution.
  • Follow-up with CM/GC to confirm Action Item resolution
  • Closes out Action Item and files document
  • Oversees Stakeholder Engagement Site Visit Log
  • Participates in weekly HSE site visits
  • Documents reoccurring meetings and visit

Reporting

  • Runs monthly portfolio reports utilizing established QA matrix
  • Runs monthly Missing Evaluations reports
Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs Workplace on a full-time basis, as required by the nature of their role.

Jacobs is looking for a highly motivatedto be a part of our
New Mexico/Southwestteam. In this role, you'll supervise other safety professionals and assist in the development, implementation, and administration of safety, health, occupational health, fire protection and prevention, and equipment and property protection.

Our Health, Safety & Environment Supervisors

• Perform assessments of Health & Safety performance of projects within their areas of responsibility and generate of report including recommendations to the project in areas requiring improvement

• Review and assist with training of operations personnel

• Coordinate and providing training

• Ensure an overall improving trend for key safety metrics in their area of responsibility TRIR, DART, RTW program implementation, etc.

• Communicate gaps in project Health & Safety programs if they are not corrected in a timely manner

• Have specific knowledge of specialty areas (OSHA 1910 &1926, fire safety, etc.) and perform onsite audits to ensure regulatory compliance

• Are responsible for moderately complex technical work in a wide range of Health & Safety disciplines to achieve compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements

• Work under very general direction and independently determine and develop approaches to solutions. Responsible for implementation of field and office HS&E program and occupational safety and health regulation in regional operations

• Monitor and prevent chemical, physical and biological hazards and diseases that could be present in the workplace

• Support the behavior-based safety program by reviewing and developing Activity Hazard Analyses and Pre-Task Plans

• May act as a lead person or technical expert and provide direction to less experienced personnel

• Conduct regular walk-through inspections and investigations in accordance with legal requirements

• Work closely with site management on any procedural roll outs and site compliance.

• Identify and recommend resolution of hazardous/potentially hazardous conditions and follow through to ensure corrections have been made.

• Investigate personal injury and property damage accidents; compile data, photographs, etc. and prepare all pertinent forms and reports per program procedures and federal, state, local regulations associated with accidents; issue various entry permits (i.e. to confine spaces) as required; conduct various industrial hygiene samplings, such as gas, noise test to ensure safe working conditions; may assist in conducting employee/craft and insurance inspectors on walk through tours; may accompany federal, state and insurance inspectors on walk through tours.

• Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

Your impact

. As part of Jacob’s Operations Management & Facilities Services (OMFS) Group, the Regional Maintenance Specialist will assume a leading role supporting maintenance and asset management efforts at all projects within the region.

In this role, you'll be responsible for the following:

  • Facilitate maintenance knowledge sharing between projects in the region and the company as a whole, related to technical support for mechanical, electrical, I&C and PdM support
  • Support optimization of treatment facilities maintenance within the region through benchmarking and key performance indicator analysis
  • Evaluate the projects’ maintenance programs on an ongoing basis and provide input for possible improvements
  • Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, sketches, plans, specifications, and mechanical illustrations
  • Perform skilled mechanical repair work on industrial water/wastewater treatment plant and related equipment; and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical machinery or equipment.
  • Assist projects in set-up and training for predictive maintenance programs (vibration, thermography, oil analysis, ultrasound, etc.)
  • Conduct condition assessments on project vertical assets and document assessments in the ACES software program
  • Prepare, consult on, or review maintenance cost estimates and level of effort; and perform ongoing project reviews to determine client satisfaction with past service and develop recommendations on the need for future service.
  • Facilitate meetings with staff or subcontractors to keep jobs on task and address any issues that may have been encountered.

*This position is considered a hybrid role working from home and traveling to project sites within the region. You may be asked to support projects in other regions as needed.
