As a Global PID BIM Lead, you will:

• Lead development of workflows, tools, standards, and training materials that will support the development of PIDS that support information and data sharing between different disciplines and stakeholders, ensuring smooth coordination and collaboration.
• Work closely with the Process Quality Manager to identify areas for improvement
• Work closely with Digital Delivery (DAG) to become familiar with existing automation and extraction tools associated with AutoCAD PIDs
• Work closely with the Piping Materials/BIM Manager to understand critical information associated with construction specifications and BIM piping content.
• Ensure adoption of Global Discipline workflows and Electronics Practices

Recent projects and roles include:

• Design and construction of tunnels and caverns by TBM, drill and blast, and SEM methods.
• Design of microtunnels and EPB TBM tunnels.
• Design and consulting for major upgrade to major US infrastructure projects.
• Engineering support for major tunnel construction projects.

Representative Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works under supervision of experienced tunnel engineers.
• Maintains effective communications with the engineering team and clients.
• Evaluates and characterizes ground conditions and geotechnical parameters.
• Performs numerical modeling for excavation design and ground behavior predictions.
• Performs calculations to design excavation support and linings and shoring systems.
• Prepares design drawings and assist in specifications preparation.
• Prepares technical reports and presentations to present findings and recommendations.
• Reviews contractor construction submittals.
• Observes and reports on construction activities and ground conditions during construction.
• Performs field investigation as needed by the project.

Responsibilities:

Analyze on site data provided by the contractor and project managers to dissect and project trends which is utilized to implement preventative actions and recovery steps through appropriate reporting channels. Work on and present technical proposals, presentations, client facing meeting for the purpose of acquiring additional programs associated with the client. Maintain all the required building information to submit for year-end reports and budget allocation of facilities and provided annual CRE reviews for executives and regional supervisors. Chair and conduct Initial Job Meetings, Bi-weekly Progress Meeting, Schedule Update Meetings, and On-site Inspection/Evaluation Meetings. Critically analyze the project controls parameters such as schedules, estimates, payments, associated with the different project types in the client portfolio and incept measures and metrics which are further used to come up with common and comparable KPI for the different project types within the portfolio. Attend meetings and document information being provided during these meeting with different stakeholder as this is used in providing the client with a historical summary of the ongoing projects and their current progress status.
