Solution Architect – core responsibility

• Serve as the primary Palantir Community of Practice leader to evangelize Foundry’s potential across the global business.
• Develop best practices, and reusable frameworks to accelerate scalable deployments.
• Guide and mentor developers across experience levels, uplifting overall Foundry skillset.

Cross-Market Innovation Leader

• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across markets (Water, Transportation, Environmental, Federal, etc.) to design scalable, reusable solutions that builds upon Foundry and AIP.
• Identify, prototype, and promote high-value use cases for clients and internal teams.

Strategic Impact

• Influence and mature our core Foundry solutions & products, helping define Jacobs’ position in the market.

As aon our team in Houston you’ll have the opportunity to provide oversight for construction of complex bridge and transportation projects, to ensure that the design documentation is safely and accurately implemented on site, and that the requirements of the construction contract are followed

Additionally in this role, you will:

• Lead a team in monitoring the progress of construction against the program and advising steps to ensure the program is achieved. Manage and direct a team of site inspectors and support staff for the supervision of the project.

• Ensure regular inspections are being performed by the team and documented as per client requirements.

• Report any non-conformance issues promptly and ensure corrective actions are taken.

• Report on progress, safety, financial recommendations, quality control and design modifications.

• Co-ordinate work with designers and other stakeholders as needed.

• You will report to the project manager.

As a part of this role, you will be expected to use your leadership and communication skills to develop a trusted relationship with the project team, contractor and with the client’s staff. Your responsibility will be to effectively communicate with all members of the project team and work to mitigate or eliminate project risks. You will be expected to place an emphasis on safe construction practices (Beyond Zero) and on maintaining a high quality of construction. You must lead by example and oversee safe practices on site.

You’ll be charged with designing and rehabilitating new and existing conveyance infrastructure for a variety of projects including transmission, distribution, and collection pipelines, pump stations, and treatment facilities. You’ll work with water, stormwater, and wastewater systems. You’ll perform condition assessments and coordinate with our in-house survey and utility locating staff to identify solutions for our clients’ needs. You’ll be expected to perform calculations, modeling, and use critical thinking skills to deliver technical reports and lead the production of construction drawings and specifications. As a Water Engineer, you’ll work closely with project managers and discipline experts to deliver quality engineering products. Your role will focus on planning, evaluation, and design development for water infrastructure needs and projects, potentially working on multiple assignments simultaneously. Additionally, you’ll coordinate your activities across disciplines and collaborate closely with other subject matter experts and team members.
