• Selling the services of Jacobs as a Senior Project/Program Manager or Senior Project Executive. Ideal candidate should have client and consultant relationships and experience / expertise in Illinois and be able to sell primarily Phase 1 and Phase 2 services based on recent experience.

• Providing strategic business development leadership, working closely with Jacobs Client Account Managers, Client Service Leaders, and Sales Operations teams in pursuit of major transportation opportunities in the area. This is accomplished by advancing long-term existing relationships with transportation clients at the state, city and county levels, leading the development of execution strategies, supporting proposal and presentation preparation activities and, developing and applying lessons learned during contract execution. This also includes supporting the development and periodic update of client account plans for work in this arena.

• Have overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project . Lead the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and organization of internal technical and support staff, and subcontractors for the project.

• Providing expertise in developing concepts for programs and design approaches for major phases of large highway infrastructure projects, including Design-Build and Public-Private Partnerships. Extensive participation in internal team meetings/workshops and client workshops is anticipated.

• Coordination with all complimentary disciplines (roadway, drainage, structural, traffic, public involvement and environmental), technical preparation and supervision of roadway and planning design tasks, perform plan quality reviews, participate in value engineering studies.

• Represents Jacobs at meetings, presentations, and public hearings relative to assigned projects. Actively participating in transportation and other professional associations and transportation industry events such as ACEC, WTS, ASCE, TRB, AASHTO, etc. to establish, improve, and maintain a business network beneficial for personal development, to advance client knowledge and relationships, and to help identify future prospects.

We’re seeking Project Managers with a background in environmental site characterization and remediation projects to oversee the delivery of challenging projects for federal and global private sector clients.

• Develop, update, and manage master specifications for all disciplines, ensuring alignment with program goals, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Develop and update design standards and guidelines to support the program’s objectives and ensure consistent quality across all projects.

• Collaborate with Subject Mater Experts (SME)’s across various disciplines to help guide the creation and update of standards and specifications.

• Standardize specifications to ensure consistency across all projects in the program.

• Ensure specifications comply with FAA standards, local building codes, and other applicable regulations and requirements from Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).

• Conduct regular reviews and audits of project specifications to ensure adherence to master specifications.

• Collaborate with design teams, project managers, and stakeholders in the development and update of standards and specifications.

• Serve as a subject matter expert during design reviews and project planning sessions.

• Provide guidance and training to project teams on specification usage and updates.

• Monitor industry trends and implement updates to enhance program outcomes.

• Resolve specification-related issues during design and construction phases.

Were seeking a Program Manager - Buildings, to manage a Los Angeles based client. You’ll be leading a multi-discipline team of peer employees and consultants to complete tasks within established schedules, budgets, using a variety of delivery models including but no limited to Design Bid Build, Design Assist and Progressive Design Build, as well as utilizing your experience to execute project strategies. You will be responsible for overall project delivery on multiple project assignments (cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts). You’ll play an integral role in engaging between project client, Architect of Record, General Contractor, among others. Your leadership skills is a key responsibility in fostering collaborative communications and relationships. In this role, you will manage project development experience from programming through completion in accordance with program objectives. You’ll also provide oversight and manage coordination of activities to mitigate risks, issues and ensure deliverables are met.
