Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Planner within our E&P business you will undertake a key role in delivering our clients requirements:

- Understanding your clients’ requirements and the impacts of the success factors of the project, developing a schedule and delivery plan to ensure success.

- You will play a critical role in the delivery and support of your Project Manager, delivering a safe working culture within project teams.

- Communicating progress, potential issues and risks to inform and proposed mitigation to your client and internally.

➡️ As a Senior Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful and timely completion of large-scale construction and civil infrastructure projects.

➡️ Your expertise in Primavera P6 and understanding of the NEC3/4 will be essential in developing and maintaining project schedules, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

➡️ Your ability to travel to client sites across the UK will help maintain strong relationships and ensure project alignment.

The Senior Planner will be responsible for:

✅ Project Scheduling: Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring all project milestones and deadlines are met

✅ Resource Management: Allocating resources effectively and efficiently to meet project demands and timelines

✅ Progress Monitoring: Tracking project progress, identifying potential delays, and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on schedule

✅ Reporting: Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and potential risks

✅ Compliance: Ensuring all project activities comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations and standards

✅ Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks associated with project schedules and resource allocation.

✅ Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, progress reports, and compliance records

• Undertaking feasibility studies.

• Using spatial and economic analysis to understand benefits for communities.
• Building and using transport models to appraise schemes.
• Developing plans and strategies.
• Delivering transport schemes aligning to current policy context (e.g. decarbonisation, sustainability and economic recovery).
