We’re seeking an experienced
Senior Bridge EngineerWe offer a full spectrum of services to a diverse range of clients, taking bridge solutions from initial concept through development, regulatory approvals, construction and commissioning to start-up and ongoing operational and maintenance support. We’ve worked on some of the longest cable-supported structures in the world, on the owner and construction side of the equation, serving as lead designer, technical advisor, independent design-checker and public-private partnership (P3) advisor. We also have extensive experience with multi-span viaducts, complex interchanges, moving bridges, arch, truss and other forms of bridges.

In the role you’ll

• Input and contribute to the technical design and efficient high-quality delivery of major bridge projects.

• Collaborate with clients and global teams to develop innovative, compliant solutions.

• Oversee project workflows, ensuring quality, timelines, and technical excellence.

• Support team development, including mentoring junior engineers.

Within our New Energy & Advisory team we advise clients on the challenges and opportunities regarding decarbonisation/net zero issues specifically in relation to requirements for delivering the global energy transition. This includes decentralized, decarbonised generation and management, innovation in technologies and energy sources, as well as policy and regulatory support.

We are currently seeking an experienced consultant to expand our team to help deliver continued growth in our services and greater value to our client’s requirements. The role will provide support to project teams delivering our services. A key element of this is being at the forefront of dynamic change, in terms of energy generation, management and distribution.

The Role:

In your role, you’ll be a key team member in a variety of project roles to ensure delivery of successful outcomes for our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

• Project Management and being accountable for key tasks and quality data outputs through project reviewer role.
• Engaging with a range of stakeholders at all levels
• Maintaining knowledge of energy/carbon policy developments, energy markets and wider energy/sustainability issues.
• Energy generation technology options appraisals and life cycle cost analysis.
• Energy management, asset reviews and audit surveys, energy demand modelling and preparing low carbon energy solutions that are either led by reconfiguring existing operations at sites or developing new strategies.
