Main Role Responsibilities:

• Technical 2D and 3D model and drawing production utilising appropriate tools and software (such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD), within a team of technical staff.
• Support strong service delivery to all internal clients
• Takes responsibility and accountability for work activities and coordinating design efforts
• Prioritise market objectives and distribute work across the team of Digital Delivery Technicians
• Liaise with internal and external clients, as required
• Maintain high work standards, minimise production errors and attention to detail

Primary Operational Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with Digital Delivery Leads, delivering in line with Jacobs BIM Standards
• Use the Content Library appropriately to supervise and approve BIM Objects in compliance with market/client/Jacobs BIM Standards.
• Accountable for Quality Assurance / Quality Control process.
• Supply information for use in Coordination Meetings and attend as required.
• Identify and escalate risks as required.
• Listens effectively and clearly presents information. Fosters honest, open and transparent communication.

The USVI Office of Disaster Recovery, a division of the Virgin Islands Public Finance Authority, has entrusted us with the critical task of managing and supporting federally funded recovery projects across the U.S. Virgin Islands. Our work will involve overseeing the reconstruction of key educational, healthcare and infrastructure projects, all of which were severely impacted by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017. We are looking for a highly collaborative Infrastructure Project Manager who will be responsible for the management and overall execution of the infrastructure projects of this multi-billion dollar disaster recovery program. In this crucial role, you’ll oversee and optimize the flow of services and information within Jacobs and the US Virgin Islands program. Based at the client site in the US Virgin Islands, you’ll be responsible for managing and collaboration with the project teams and overall program delivery for the infrastructure sector. This will include the management of the project stakeholders, project development from conception through completion in accordance with the program objectives and coordination of infrastructure managers across all projects. You will manage, provide oversight, and facilitate resolution to complex project related challenges.

As the Infrastructure Project Manager (Roads/Drainage), you’ll play an integral role in mentoring staff, forming long-term relationships with clients, and pursuing new work, including strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts. You’ll provide effective, skilled project management to help reduce the costs of delivering projects while adding value to the business by applying proven project management techniques.

• Review RFP (Request for Proposal) documents received during bidding stage, issue inquiry requisitions, and prepare Manhour and Cost Estimation.
• Ensure all work carried out conforms with agreed codes and practices, meets all requirements of the contracts specification and ensure all work is carried out within agreed schedules, budgets and procedures in safe manner Coordination, guidance, mentoring, and supervision for design and engineering.
• Co-ordinate, interface and provide inputs to other discipline
• Contributing to the development of the team's business by preparing bids and proposals, making/attending presentations to clients and prospective clients and carrying out any other required marketing activity.
• May work independently on special assignments or as part of a working team.
• Oversee development of tools needed for continuous improvement of work process
• Contributing to team workshops and discussions; sharing of knowledge with other team members
• Working within the company's quality-assured delivery processes and delivering output to the required level of quality.

Role accountabilities:

§ Design and engineering of Fire Detection & Alarm System, Public Address & Voice Alarm System and Early Warning & Smoke Detection System for Buildings.

§ Design and engineering of Building Management System (BMS) which includes controlling and monitoring of Building’s MEP equipment such as HVAC, lighting, power systems, fire systems, access control and security systems.

§ Design and engineering of Security systems which includes CCTV Surveillance System, Access Control Systems, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) etc.

§ Design and engineering of ICT/Telecommunication system including campus backbone cabling, Structured Cabling Infrastructure, IP Telephony, Wireless Data network, and Intercom etc.

§ Develop System Architecture of Telecom/Security/ELV Networks including selection of network switch, routers, firewall etc.

§ Design and calculations of Cable containments and conduits connecting various areas.

§ Hands-on experience of Indian and International codes for the design (NFPA, IS, NBC, BS, IEEE, BICSI, TIA etc.)

§ Preparation of Tender documents with relevant design, technical specifications, material requisition, data sheets and BOQ as per requirement.

§ Preparing TBA/ TBE, review of technical data sheets and shop drawings submitted by various vendors/ contractors.

§ Having knowledge of Modelling, Drafting, detailing and coordination using latest BIM software’s like Revit, AutoCAD, BIM360, Revizto.

§ Evaluate and advise on ICT, Security and ELV related design changes and non-conformations to ensure fulfilment of the requirements.

§ Flexible to adopt new work /challenge work as per business requirement.
