Responsibilities

  • Market Data Administration and Client Operations - Engage with a wide range of global clients, existing and prospective. Handle general inquiries pertaining to ICE Futures market data content, licensing and fees. Facilitate the KYC process, onboarding, entitlement, and/or termination processes. Ensure billings are implemented accurately and collect past due invoices from delinquent accounts.
  • Product Sales Support and Account Management - Build and manage relationships with trading participants, data vendors, technology firms, and inter-company teams on a global scale. Assist in client inquiries/disputes from start to finish. Coordinate internally to meet unique client needs while upholding data policies and promoting ICE data services.
  • Product Implementation Support - Manage projects that include launching new products to relevant market reports and services. Employ operational efficiencies across data management, business intelligence, and customer onboarding. Record customer feedback to aid in the enhancement of product characteristics.

Knowledge and Experience

  • BS in Business Administration, Finance/Economics, or Marketing or equivalent combination of education or experience is required.
  • Adept computer and software literacy preferred. Experience in Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint - is a must. Tableau or other data visualization knowledge is helpful but not required.
  • Must be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, and a track record of exceptional customer service.
  • Solid attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a high-speed environment is required.
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and analysis skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of trading, market data, exchanges, technology, or network infrastructure is a plus.

Job Purpose

Upcoming initiatives the successful candidate will contribute to include:

  • Sourcing, processing, and analyzing global wildfire, hurricane, and flood data sets
  • Utilise advanced geospatial analysis techniques and climate models to assess global climate risks and impacts on various sectors
  • Contribute to the enhancement and development of the inhouse global physical risk models
  • Interpret and apply data in complex analyses and explain findings to business audiences to improve products and processes
  • Developing documentation and discussion points around climate data for dissemination to clients

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing global physical climate risk data
  • Ability to work alongside the team to analyze climate data in BigQuery
  • Building models linking climate stressors to economic impacts
  • Programming and writing scripts to perform geospatial analyses
  • Coordinate across multiple internal teams, including product management, business development and general client services

Knowledge and Experience

  • PhD or Master’s degree in climate science, data science, or related field
  • Expertise in acute and chronic physical risks, especially wildfire, flood, hurricane, and extreme temperature risk
  • Experience in catastrophe modeling, including model evaluation and/or development
  • Industry experience
  • Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL, R, and Python
  • Outstanding quantitative skill set
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

In addition to the above technical skills and knowledge, you will inevitably acquire knowledge in the subject domains ICE’s Sustainable Finance, including:

  • Municipal bonds, mortgage-backed securities, sovereign debt, and corporate bonds & equities
  • Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Compute, Google Cloud Storage)

Job Purpose

Establish and implement data management procedures, analysis tools and methodologies to reflect the ongoing needs of the Capital Market trends. Connect, verify and ensure proper data flow within the organization

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the data flow in capital markets, directly supporting group members with technical solutions and addressing complex client queries as needed
  • Research and explore data, using high level analytical tools in a high-level technical environment.
  • Work with a large amount of data and build tools to streamline the process.
  • Implement methods and models of data cleansing, data view and quality assurance.
  • Work closely with other internal departments and resources including, support and Operations, to develop workflows, quality assurance processes and product enhancements, as well as assist the group members with technical solution.
  • Constantly analyze the system, find weakness and offer technical solution for improvement and optimization.

Knowledge and Experience

  • BA/BSc in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics or Financial Engineering
  • Independent fast learner with a “can do” attitude
  • Experience in the financial industry/banking
  • Proven experience with data products and platforms.
  • Knowledge of SQL- a must, Python - advantage
  • Demonstrate analytical and quantitative skills to solve problems
