Job Description:

The role's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manages relevant contracts and suppliers to deliver high quality employee services within a site or sub-region, including but not limited to IFM, transportation, cafeterias, and other building services.
  • Oversee day-to-day activities of contractors on-site and interfaces with customers ensuring services and assets are operated and maintained according to service level agreements.
  • Supervise projects that are executed through our contractors, whether funded and owned through our internal org or external orgs.
  • Oversees campus / building maintenance services comprising areas such as roofs, walls, landscape, hardscape, pavements, facade cleaning, pest control, and building structural maintenance and upkeep programs through IFM supplier.
  • Represents relevant scope areas in infrastructure projects (i.e., from positioning to room acceptance).
  • Manages incident response and communications activities to avoid service interruptions.
  • Ensures the facility, procedures, and service programs maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and agency audits.
  • Performs regular audits of equipment, fixtures, and systems to ensure contractual needs are met and ensure consistency with global services standards.
  • Works closely with facility occupants ensuring proper maintenance and facility assets are appropriately provided and assigned.
  • Inspects building structures, performs analysis and forecasting and makes recommendations for repairs or renovations.
  • Monitors site operational budget and strive to maximize efficiency in all areas.
  • Develops and helps execute comprehensive change management strategy and communication plan relative to projects and services.
  • Partners with procurement organization to manage key performance indicators and supplier scorecard metrics.
  • Manages capital equipment/space renovation roadmaps per specific service type.
  • Acts as subject matter expert for green field, mergers, acquisitions per service scope area.
  • Provides project management services around site services, including gathering requirements, conducting assessments, defining milestones, timelines, deliverables and quality standards.
Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in related course of study or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience with facilities management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with engagement and performance management of outsourced suppliers and vendors.
  • Proven track record in successful management of small projects as an owner ‘s representative.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Local Ownership

  • Take charge of site-specific technical capabilities, understanding local manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
  • Lead FSM technical initiatives to enhance skills and problem-solving, ensuring workforce readiness for OTF site-specific needs.
  • Collaborate with site and cross-functional teams to identify and address technical gaps, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions locally.
  • Oversee daily learning operations, ensuring alignment with site and global targets, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Work with senior local leadership to identify long-term technical capabilities priorities and investment opportunities, contributing to the strategic roadmap.
  • Update OTF senior management on training progress and outcomes.
  • Efficiently lead local technical resources, collaborating with direct manager to support site operations and projects.

Global Support

  • Collaborate with FSM technical staff to develop and execute learning strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Act as the main liaison between the local site and global technical teams, ensuring alignment with global strategies and representing technical needs.
  • Communicate local requirements and challenges to global stakeholders, advocating for necessary resources and support.
  • Apply global best practices and standards locally, driving continuous improvement and adherence to global quality standards.
  • Lead cross-functional projects for process improvement, knowledge sharing, and new technology implementation.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders for goal alignment, resource management, and timely project execution.
  • Implement and assess centralized technical training programs to enhance staff skills.
  • Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives, making data driven recommendations for improvement.

Technical Expertise

  • Offer technical guidance to local teams, troubleshooting complex issues promptly.
  • Stay informed on emerging learning technologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance capabilities.
  • Maintain deep understanding of relevant manufacturing technologies, processes, and industry trends.
  • Monitor key performance indicators for technical learning, certification performance and project milestones to ensure accountability and improvement.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Lead a team of capabilities professionals, collaborating with the direct manager to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Mentor team members and recommend development opportunities for skill enhancement and career growth.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in technical leadership roles within a global manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of working in the Clean Room with strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems, with expertise in relevant technologies.
  • 2+ years of learning and development theories that may include:
    • Systems, tools, platforms, methodologies and experience in leading learning initiatives is an advantage.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Work experience in multiple expertise areas.
  • HVM management experience as a Module Team Leader and/or Area Manager
  • Experience with application / development of Adult-Learning Theory

This hybrid position in Arizona reports to the Project Operations/Director.Responsibilities for the Tools and Apps Lead included but are not limited to:

  • Project Controls Group (PCG) Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Global PCG Applications and Tools related to integrated project controls (scope, schedule, estimate, cost, procurement, change management, risk management, progress reporting, etc.) and successful operations thereof. This includes integrated project controls interfaces from applications used by other functions (e.g. Autodesk)
  • Publish and maintain Global PCG Applications and Tools standards, process and procedures related to integrated project controls. Tools and application development will be in coordination with DigIT
  • Ensure the Intel Unified Work Breakdown Structure (IUWBS) and attributing of project data is aligned with standards and support integrated project control needs and other project functions
  • Develop and deploy tools and applications for field verification and progress measurement
  • Develop related deployment strategy(s), training materials, and performance assessment (KPI with PCG EPIC Ops Program Management Office)
  • As a newly forming group, this role will include cross functional responsibilities, tasks and support of the PCG Const. Operations and Front End Loading team and will evolve
  • Build and drive safety Culture of Care in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to construction execution
