Job Description:

As a member of our Client Memory Subsystem Team you will:

  • Perform system electrical analysis SI/PI and analyzingvalidation/Simulationresults to influence next-gen Silicon, Package, socket, System form factor, and DRAM industry to make Client products competitive.
  • Perform Signal Integrity and Power Integrity simulations and timing analysis and correlating simulations with system measurements.
  • Create, define and develop Signal Integrity validation methods, environments and test content
  • Use and apply platform level tools and techniques to ensure performance to specifications, and optimize and characterize the platform electrical.
  • Perform Si and platform debug to root-cause issues and enable robust design fixes
  • Requires broad understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with architecture design and pre-silicon validation teams in improving post-silicon test content and providing feedback for future on die & platform debug features optimization.
  • Be able to demonstrate success in communicating plans status issues and concerns.
  • Test planning execution monitoring and reporting test results.
  • Collaboration with cross functional teams – Silicon, Simulation, HW and MRC teams to solve complex issues and improve efficiency.
  • Frontline and drive schedules and issues to closure in high complex scenarios.
  • Help define solutions for customer issues.
  • Be able to make judgment calls regarding customer deliverables and program level risk assessment from a Signal Integrity and performance standpoint.

A successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Good communication skills and an excellent team player.

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor's in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field plus 12+ years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 10+ years of experience

The experience must include the below:

  • Systems validation and/or Platform validation experience.
  • Debug experience at platform level.
  • Coded/Debugged/Troubleshootedfirmware.
  • PCB design tools including Allegro Mentor PCB and exposure to UNIX.
  • Electrical electromagnetic fundamentals.
  • Signal Integrity & Power Integrity fundamentals.
  • System board design and process.
  • 3D/2.5D simulation tools like Ansys HFSS/Q3D, Keysight-ADS, Synopsis - HSpice, Cadence - PowerSI, etc is added advantage.

  • Experience in Analog or mixed-signal circuit design (Voltage regulators, filters, amplifiers, LDOs, DC-DC converters, PLLs, DLLs, ADCs, ...)

  • Experience in taking designs from circuit to layout to silicon prototype

  • Strong knowledge of the analog design flow and industry standard CAD/EDA tools for schematic, simulation, such as Cadence Spectre/AMS Designer /Virtuoso, Synopsys, StarRC.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Power Delivery / Power Management systems / PMIC (eg DC-DC converter design, buck converters)

  • Experience in mixed signal modeling and system analysis of complex feedback systems

  • Senior\Expert Windows OS Debugger, understanding of Intel PlatformArchitecture, Hardwarespecifications and standards set across different platforms.

  • Self-motivated and demonstrate success in communicating plans, status, issues, and concerns.

  • Able to work independently with little guidance and be team-player vested in the team’s success.

Skillset that we are looking for:

  • Independent, quick self-sufficient learner.
