Come join us as a Module Equipment Technician and together let's grow and develop the next leading technology. We offer a compressed work week schedule where we work four days on with three days off one week. The next week we work three days on and four days off.This position for Fab 11X/Fab 9 includes shift openings on shifts 4, 5, 6, and 7:

  • Shift 4: (nights frontend) PM-AM Sun-Tues and alternating Saturday nights.

  • Shift 5: (days frontend) AM-PM Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesday days.

  • Shift 6: (nights backend) PM-AM Wed-Sat and alternating Saturday night.

  • Shift 7: (days backend) AM-PM Thurs-Sat and alternating Wednesday days.

Module Equipment Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including:

  • Operations, equipment maintenance, process, and training.

  • Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.

  • Responsible for running material in a qualitative way. Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining.

  • Performs operational tasks, preventative maintenance, and/or assists in troubleshooting to determine problems in equipment used in the manufacturing process.


In addition, the Module Equipment Technician is responsible for:

  • Improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.

  • May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required.

  • Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters.

  • High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.

  • Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new work.


The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral skills/traits:

  • Self motivated, self-starter.

  • Verbal and written communication skills and comfortability presenting issues and solutions.

  • Skills to work well in a diverse team environment and ability to multi-task.

  • Skills to work with minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities.

  • Skills to produce results in a timely manner. Time management ability to prioritize work and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.

  • Analytical problem solving and testing skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team (collaboration skills).

  • Evidence of the ability to train others.

  • Comfortable working in a factory environment on a regular basis.

  • Basic computer skills.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have a HS diploma or GED equivalent

  • Successful completion of the 34- credit hour Industrial Automation (Mechatronics) Technician certificate program.

  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kgs) at least 4 times a day.

  • The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the entire shift.

  • Candidates must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing appropriate protective gear like coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, and gloves.

  • The role involves a day/night shift compressed work week, consisting of three 12-hour days or nights in a row, followed by a fourth day or night every other week.

  • This position is not open for Intel immigration sponsorship.
