Job Description:

This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfil essential job responsibilities.

  • Performs assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks in the production process, ensuring that the finished products match the industry standards and customer specifications. Also supports developing, building and testing new products and prototypes, or processes for quality and functionality.
  • Operates equipment either from a remote operations center or internal to factory. Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
  • Maintains overall production efficiency of assigned tools/ modules, and optimizes production efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings as needed. Sets up and operates production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
  • Supports activities related to the installation, qualification, maintenance, and training of new or reused production equipment. Drives maximum utilization of equipment and use of automated systems to maximize quality of output.
  • Works with Manufacturing Operations Manager and peers to produce product that meets output requirements and escalates appropriately to management team when shift output schedules are at risk.
  • Supports incorporating process improvements, and troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability. Ensures availability of required raw materials for production. Inspects raw materials and final products, performing quality control evaluations to confirm items meet established standards.
  • Conducts quality checks on the functionality of parts and components. Drives quality and cost improvements through area in conjunction with engineering. Maintains production logs and other required documentation as indicated by Standard Operating Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor production processes and perform routine inspections to ensure product quality.
  • Assist in material handling, including loading/unloading raw materials and finished goods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum SPM or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of production machinery.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and overtime as required.
  • This is a 1-year contract.

Qualifications:
  • Must possess a Bachelor or a Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics and/or other related majors.

  • Have 0-2 years of work experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Familiarity with statistical data analysis techniques and scripting background.

  • Have scripting knowledge in C++, MATLAB, SQL, Python, Power-BI and other relevant scripting language.

  • Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to travel and/or relocate to another city or country for training.

  • Familiarity with mechanical system, thermodynamic system, thermal heat transfer, material science, semiconductor packaging and testing technologies, process and equipment would be an added advantage.

  • Technical knowledge in statistical process control, commonality analysis, design of experiment and failure modes/effects analysis (FMEA).

  • Develops process and equipment specifications applying principles for design of experiments and data analysis, and documents improvements through white papers.
  • Develops and maintains equipment to evaluate silicon and package technologies under simulated field use conditions, such as heat, humidity, temperature cycle, and dynamic forces.
  • Ensures manufacturability of physical layout of package design and oversees the cycle of manufactured package processes, procedures and flows.
  • Establishes material specifications for contract assemblers and raw material vendors and interfaces with supplier quality and procurement teams to ensure material quality and vendor performance requirements are met through strict adherence to process specifications and existing product qualification methods.
  • Develops new techniques and acceleration methods, tools, and quality screens to ensure the early identification of potential problems with packaging quality and reliability.
  • Sets reliability requirements to meet customer needs and influences design, material selection and process development to meet those needs, based on fundamental understanding of failure mechanisms.

  • Delivers standardization in product qualification, manufacturing quality systems, and methods and continuously engages with packaging technology development and partner engineering groups on process/technology maturity for products towards key risk areas in meeting product milestones.
Qualifications:
  • Prefer an individual who possess a MSc/PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering/MaterialEngineering/ElectricalEngineering/Chemical Engineering/Physics with focus onthermal/fluid/packagingassembly process engineering or related engineering background, with at least 3 years of working experience. Bachelor’s Degree with strong relevant experience can also be considered.
