Solution Architect

The role reports to the Technical Sales, Practice for ANZ who is based in Sydney.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Intermediate certification on at least 1 cloud ecosystem and 1 data related cloud technology
  • Advanced knowledge of security for cloud computing
  • Experience engaging with VP/Director customer personas
  • Credibility with data engineers, data scientists, and other technical personas
  • Expert storytelling and presentation skills across multiple horizontal and vertically specific use cases
  • Advanced technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, data warehousing, database, MDM or CDGC/Data Governance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create and execute on a strategic technical account plan

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Experience with the Data Governance or Master Data Management
  • Manage customer engagements independently
  • Responsible for sharing best practices and content on competition and other ecosystem vendors
  • Perform all activities leading up to the delivery of a Customer Specific Demo with no assistance including discovery, technical qualification, customer presentations, standard demo and any related customer-facing communication
  • Conduct technical workshops with customers with no assistance
  • Lead on RFP responses and POC's related for area of focus
  • Partner with the CSM team to nurture activities including technical advisory, workshops, etc.
  • Ability to support demos at marketing events independently
  • Customize, create, and present customer demos with minimal assistance
  • Present existing EBC content either at Informatica or onsite with customers

Education/Experience

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in data management or related data solutions
  • 10 years of prior presales/technical sales or consulting experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred

Solution Architect

As a Solution Architect, you will engage with internal collaborators, customers and partners to develop technical account plan/strategy and drive value driven sales engagements to technical closure. As a key member of the Technical Sales team, you will ensure success by capturing customer use cases and designing complex technical solutions on top of Informatica Data Management Cloud. You will educate customers and internal stakeholders on the Informatica value proposition and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment and consumption in the cloud. Within our technical sales community you will be an active, constant learner with a growth mindset. You will mentor others on the team and contribute to the development of shared technical selling assets, knowledge stores, and enablement materials. To ensure sustained revenue growth you will contribute to pipeline generation by delivering technical workshops, being active in social media promotions and the technical community, developing content for external circulation, and participating in industry marketing events.

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

We're looking for an
Senior Director, Field Enablement

You will report to the GVP, Sales Operations.

You will determine and evaluate sales training needs for the organization. Also, select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the Enablement function.

  • Keeps informed of new enablement methods and techniques.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
  • Leads a team, routinely via subordinate leaders, of Field Enablement staff.
  • Determines and evaluates sales and/or professional services enablement needs for the global sales/professional services organization.
  • Directs the development of training curriculum, programs, tools, procedures, and processes strategies.
  • Oversees the effort to create, organize, and conduct sales training sessions.
  • Facilitates formal and informal presentations to senior executive leadership, and other stakeholder function leaders, as appropriate.
  • Works with marketing team and product management to incorporate marketing strategy into enablement curriculum.
  • Provides guidance within the sales/professional services organizations and shares best practices.
  • Analyzes performance of sales/professional services personnel to determine need for additional enablement.
