Description:
Your role and responsibilities

i. Rack, build, cable, configure and provision Intel and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) servers

ii. Rack, cable and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment

iii. Troubleshoot, test and quality assurance of server hardware

iv. Professionally resolve hardware issues via trouble ticket

Required education
High School Diploma/GED
Preferred education
Associate's Degree/College Diploma
Required technical and professional expertise

i. Operating System Installation Windows Server, Linux, Unix

ii. Rack, cable, and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment a plus

iii. Web Server and Database installation experience a plus

v. Must be fluent in English

vi. Must be willing to learn quickly, multi-task, and work in a fast pace environment

vii. Moderate knowledge of PC hardware concepts and component installation.

viii. Basic knowledge of various internet-related services and software (mail, web, DNS, etc).

ix. General understanding of computer networking concepts.

xi. Network wiring/cabling experience a plus.

Preferred technical and professional experience

i. 3-5 years’ experience with Windows and Linux Platforms

ii. 3-5 years’ experience with computer/server hardware

iii. Certifications are not required but a plus.
