Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the technical quality and
    effectiveness of the mechanical design.
  • Create and verify conveyor layout, detail, air, load, structural drawings, schematics,
    and equipment orders as applicable to the project
  • Plan equipment layout, material flow, and
    measures to maintain efficient and safe utilization of resources and equipment
    on projects as assigned
  • Work with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of
    material handling equipment and solutions as required in support of project
    needs.
  • Direct and coordinate building of prototypes. Confer with researchers and other
    engineers to clarify and resolve problems found during execution, preparing
    design modifications as appropriate.
  • Perform a variety of calculations and prepare detailed multi-view drawings based on
    engineering data and standard references.
  • In the field, identify field safety concerns;
    confirm equipment was installed per plans; communicate design issues and
    improvements with customers, site superintendents, general contractors, and
    installation crews; adjust conveyor design to accommodate for field
    interferences.
  • Provide planning, reporting, and management of the mechanical project, in addition to
    technical implementation.
  • Take full ownership of the mechanical project elements and execute (and/or delegate)
    individual tasks throughout the project life cycle by coordinating and
    forecasting mechanical resources in-house and on site.
  • Take a systems approach in understanding core design features, project elements, and
    overall mechanical architecture and manage the scope, budget (OAs, COs), and
    schedule, maintaining internal and external customer expectations throughout
    the project life cycle.

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • 5 + years of experience in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Full term of experience must include:Autodesk, including AutoCAD, Vault, and Navisworks; Microsoft SharePoint,Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Oracle; forecasting multi-million-dollar projects;green field “cradle to grave” project execution; identifying engineering safetyconcerns and design improvements related to safety; and communicating designissues and improvements with customers, site superintendents,

  • Provide on the ground information and help the Honeywell Fire & Security Pacific leadership team in setting the strategic marketing focus for products, channel strategy and ISC strategy for different product categories and LOBs
  • Enable the execution of key STRAP initiatives through the principles of HOS with transforming STRAP objectives into the X-Matrix tool to drive flawless execution
  • Analyze long-term market trends, changing customer needs, and evaluate competitive landscape to develop a business strategy that ensures HBT long-term success
  • Enabling the Honeywell Security Pacific regional team to plan and execute the Annual Operating Plan across Revenue, Profitability and Working Capital by providing the right business decisions through intelligent risk taking, integrative thinking and working together in a team environment to ensure collectively the team gets results
  • Manage a portfolio of offering from Honeywell
  • Launch new offering as and when available and drive fast adoption. Work closely with Marketing Communication organization to manage successful launch of new offering
  • Develop & run region wise channel programs – loyalty, performance measurement, penetration of portfolio etc. Work closely with CRM / Customer Lifecycle management team and ensure high conversion of System Integrator to Honeywell complete distribution product portfolio.
  • Create and manage distributor commercial policy to ensure volume pick up along with managing right gross margin as per AOP. Create category specific campaigns as and when necessary.
  • Analyze competitors along with GBE and global product marketing team and advise country marketing leader on necessary strategies to counter competitive moves.
  • Conduct product promotion events like expos, seminars, training to drive Brand awareness and to increase competency of the channel sales team of Honeywell and of partners
  • Developing tactical marketing that includes all aspects of product strategy & operational management, channel requirements analysis and competitive/ profit maximizing pricing tactics.
  • Run theSIOP process through portfolio management and demand forecasting. Ensure IOS level is below AOP.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Engineering with MBA from a recognized Business School preferred.
  • Possess strong Office Automation Product knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Professional Skills / Knowledge

  • Should possess Product and Channel Management experience in a similar Business to Business Product company with relevant Building Controls industry experience
  • Technical experience within the Security industry for Access Control, Intrusion and Video management
  • Experience in marketing communications and internal communications
  • Very strong general product marketing skills (conducting VOCs/ OVOCs, market segmentation, competitive positioning, identifying CTQs, developing value proposition and flawless execution of product launches).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and direct resources across multiple functions ranging from engineering, marketing, quality, sourcing at the same time bringing an integrative thinking with demonstrated business acumen.
  • Identifying and understanding market and technology trends, and linking them to business strategy; strong aptitude for technology
  • Understanding of microeconomics and financial concepts and the link them to business strategy
  • Strong financial and excel modelling skills, and excellent power point slide preparation

  • 5+ years of security experience at a professional or management level.
