As a Compliance Analyst at Advanced Materials, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with the various regulations to which Advanced Materials is subject, including, but not limited to, the American Innovation and Manufacturing (AIM) Act. This position will involve analyzing data, conducting audits, and providing insightful recommendations to improve compliance processes related to the production and sale of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and other regulated chemicals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental regulations, data analysis, and report generation, and possess a keen attention to detail. This role directly contributes to Advanced Materials’ organizational success by helping to ensure our credibility with critical regulators.

This role reports into the General Counsel, Compliance and you’ll work out of our New Jersey or D.C. location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and testing and monitoring of processes and reports to ensure compliance with AIM Act and other regulatory requirements.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze data related to HFC production, transformation, imports, and exports and support data tracking and reporting initiatives
  • Aggregate data across multiple platforms, analyze transactions and the movement of goods, and validate reports submitted to relevant regulatory agencies
  • Monitor and analyze regulatory changes related to the AIM Act, HFCs, and other applicable regulations; assess their impact on the organization’s operations and compliance strategy; and provide strategic recommendations
  • Identify areas for improvement in processes and suggest corrective actions
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance compliance efforts, understand operational impacts of applicable regulations, and provide training and support on compliance requirements and best practices
  • Participate in a variety of special projects as assigned by management

The salary range for this position is $99,400 - $124,200. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory compliance, business or environmental analytics, compliance auditing, or related roles

This position will report to the Director, Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), and will work out of our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. You will enable Digital Transformation programs at AERO through EDW and other Analytics projects. You will have a strong understanding and technical skill in EDW space. You will conduct extensive data analysis, facilitate conversations with business partners to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and processes. You are familiar with agile development and will act as the voice of the business in stages of software development. You will support efficient and timely deployment of EDW in AERO. You will support process improvement for your functional area, and partner with business leaders to ensure delivery of comprehensive training and rapid adoption of EDW by end users. You will be documenting use cases and value proposition. You will be and working with data governance group to stand up EDW data catalogue and data dictionary.

This role will play a pivotal role in enhancing Honeywell business outcomes by supporting the effective and timely implementation of EDW for Aerospace Technologies. Your contributions to EDW strategy will be vital, acting as a key liaison between the business / function and IT leadership to ensure customer and security requirements are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conceptualize and develop technical requirements for data architecture, data model and integration to EDW.
  • Determining that the outcome of the integration has met the organizational needs.
  • Creating and providing technical document that explains upcoming or existing integration to technical as well as non-technical individuals for adoption.
  • Elicits, analyzes, and prioritizes business level and functional project requirements.
  • Documents business requirements in the form of user stories with acceptance criteria.

  • Assist leaders to manage change and drive EDW consumption.
  • Work with source system owner to research and clarify data mappings, understand and test data security requirements, research and document system logic, drive use case and test case strategy.
  • Mentor and support junior IT analysts, fostering their growth and development.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience as IT analysis, or related roles.
  • Experience in data profiling/analysis, integration, and EDW highly preferred.
  • Experience with SQL to support query development and perform analyses.
  • Good understanding of at least one coding language (e.g. Python, Scala, etc)
  • Deep understanding of ETL method and tool, relational database, data model, schema design and development highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex, technical information in an understandable manner.
