Collect, organize, and interpret data from instruments & enter those results into LIMS.
Ability to work in shifts as per the designed schedule.
Maintain compliance with HSE policies and procedures and adopt HSE requirements for safe laboratory operations.
Communicate well with co-associates in the group and with internal customers.
Recommend and implement safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
Occasional lifting and moving of bags, samples, and other objects up to 10 pounds may be required.
Qualifications:
BSc or MSc in Material Science/Chemistry
2-3 years working experience in an industrial or testing lab.
Computer literate - including MS word and excel.
Key Success Factors/Profile

As aSystems Engineer IIhere at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the design, development, and support of Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) systems for our customers. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of complex projects and providing technical expertise in the field of Inertial Measurement.
Your work will directly contribute to the advancement of our technological capabilities and the success of our customers. You will report directly to our IMU and MEMS Sensors Senior Engineering Manager and you will work out of our Minneapolis, Minnesota location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development and improvement of IMU systems, ensuring their accuracy, reliability, and performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, design solutions, and validate system performance. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as providing guidance and support to junior engineers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and design solutions for IMU systems.
• Conduct system-level testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to IMU systems.
• Work closely with manufacturing to improve capability and producibility of our IMUs
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in IMU technology and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $111,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 2-5 years of experience in systems engineering, preferably in the field of guidance and navigation.
• Knowledge of IMU technology and its applications.
• Experience in system-level testing and validation.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
