Description:

As a SOC Cyber Security Expert here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and resilience of our digital infrastructure. You will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security events, identifying potential threats, and responding to security incidents. Your expertise in cybersecurity will help protect our systems and data from unauthorized access and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information assets.

You will report directly to our Senior Cyber Security Manager and will be based at our Duluth, GA location, following a hybrid work schedule. As part of a special project, you will need to relocate to the Texarkana region for one year, beginning in October 2025.

In this role, you will impact the organization by:
• Monitoring and analyzing security events to identify potential threats
• Conducting investigations and responding to security incidents
• Implementing and maintaining security controls and technologies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall security posture
• Providing recommendations for improving security policies and procedures

  • Ensure Compliance: Adhere to Honeywell corporate HSE requirements and local legislation for the field scope and OLRS in the region.
  • Influence and Collaborate: Establish relationships and processes with business managers to influence employees to meet HSE goals and objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Lead and support the development and deployment of the 3-5 year strategic plan (STRAP) and annual operating plan (AOP) for HSE performance across the region, utilizing tools such as the X-Matrix, A3 plans, and lean principles.
  • Project Reviews: Conduct regular project/service contract reviews/Audits to verify the sustenance & to ensure compliance with Honeywell processes and statutory and corporate legislation.
    Governance and Auditing Program: Implement a robust governance and auditing program for HSE across the region.
  • Training and Awareness: Deliver HSE-related trainings, behaviour observations, and internal auditor training to improve culture and awareness.
  • Certifications: Work with the business leadership team to maintain or gain HSE certifications such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
  • Incident Investigation: Conduct injury/incident investigations as required.
  • Compliance: Lead/support in securing & maintaining all applicable HSE compliance with Honeywell processes and statutory and corporate legislation.
  • Review &ensure Assist in resolving potential non-compliance, enforcement actions, orlitigation related to HSE matters.
  • Continuous Improvement: Partner with business leaders and employees to continuously improve the HSE culture and awareness. Continuously improve the Management Operating System (MOS) to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of HSE programs.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Coach and mentor Site Safety Officers/Engineers in delivering leading HSE performance for a site.

Key Deliverables:

  • Annual Operating Plan: Achieve or exceed the annual operating plan (AOP) by reducing and eliminating incidents.
  • HSE Metrics: Sustain and improve HSE maturity, observations, corrective action metrics, and other general KPIs.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all HSE standards from leadership, employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Continuous Improvement Culture: Foster a continuous improvement culture for HSE within the region.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years’ working experience preferably from a building and construction industry in a similar position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong foundation in safety management principles.
  • Valid Safety Green Book that is registered with DOSH is preferred.
  • Experience with HSE certifications such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.

Certifications:

  • Professional certifications in HSE (e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), or equivalent) are highly desirable.
  • Lead Auditor certification for ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 (would be an advantage)

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to the constructions.
  • Understanding on legal compliance (DOSH, BOMBA & DOE)
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and training sessions

Health, Safety and Environment

Ensure Playbook activities are completed each month.

HSE assessments are carried out and updated annually for all contracts and projects.

HSE Safety Plans are available at sites as required.

Report safety observations (SOS)

Assist with the financial control according to agreed budgets and plans.

Forecast financials monthly and analyse throughout the month.

Utilize the output of Analytics technology to proactively identify and provide estimate material cost and quantities for reactive works and pass on information required to price job to key and service accounts manager

Estimates materials costs and quantities and ordering parts.

Assist Service Operations Manager with outstanding debt recovery and under-billed projects.

Generation of small work quotations including execution of works.

Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by the Service Manager.

Ensure team documentation is current and participate in internal and external audits as required.

You Must Have

Completion of an Engineering Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma

Intermediate to High computer skills

3 – 4 years of work experience preferred with relevant knowledge of BMS, Fire, FAS, CCTV and Security systems, Instrumentation.
