Description:

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our programs and processes, ensuring compliance, identifying areas for improvement, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The specialist will use strategic thinking to anticipate problems, recognize and eliminate barriers, and drive success. Your work will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and contributing to the success of our organization.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Schedule and Milestone development/management
  • Cost development/management
  • Support efforts in planning, scheduling, and cost control for all phases of engineering projects
  • Maintain & analyze project cost commitments & forecasts
  • Anticipate schedule and cost deviations through trend analysis and earned value management (EVM)
  • Develop and maintain appropriate project control metrics and reports
  • Act as liaison between Finance and Project team
  • Coordinate with design houses and construction contractors for project controls data
  • Coordinate project activities between internal process design team, design houses, and contractors
  • Use SAP and EcoSys tools to cost-estimate, plan and execute project(s)
  • Use a standardized Change Orders process to reflect changes to the project plan
  • Convey project controls data analysis to Project Manager and suggest possible alternatives to improve project metrics
  • Regularly report project progress to managers and project steering teams
  • Monitor and control projects to meet the stated objectives and metric commitments
  • Responsible for forecasting and managing capital expenditures
  • Responsible for collecting and reporting cost and schedule performance metrics on all projects assigned
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project controls or related roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with complex data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Significant experience in Primavera P6 strongly desired
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision
  • Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience

  • Understanding of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Forecast product demand and revenue from assigned accounts 18 months into the future and deliver on resulting annual targets.
  • Manage customer relationships and coverage by sharing information and developing account plans throughout UOP.
  • Lead opportunities through the entire sales cycle: Identify opportunity, clarify bid, develop sales strategy, enroll and aligning sales support, submit proposal, close the deal, work with order management, production planning and service to make, deliver and service the product.
  • Support Business and Technology functions by providing market and competitor intelligence.
  • Report and work with internal resources to resolve customer issues including legal agreements.
  • Maintain all internal work and sales processes, e.g. customer relation management tools.

MUST HAVE:

  • Minimum of 5 years day-to-day operating experience in a customer-facing sales or sales support role.
  • Familiarity with adsorption fundamentals.
  • Fluency in English required.

  • BS degree
  • Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
  • 6 or more years of direct product sales and/or sales support experience is preferred.

As a Sr Financial Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning and analysis activities for our Performance Material Controls (PMC) business part of Industrial Automation (IA) segment.
