Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for the production and assembly of complex mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical components, products, and systems. You’ll work as part of a team to construct and test products, such as aircraft engines, electric motors, control panels, aerospace products, and various other tech components.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you’ll be required to interpret technical instructions, drawings, specifications, and schematics, and follow established procedures to accomplish your objectives. You’ll use high-precision tools and instruments to ensure accuracy and quality compliance, while maintaining a safe, organized, and clean workspace.
Your daily duties will typically include testing systems and components, conducting repairs, using a variety of machinery, testing parts to specifications, assembling and disassembling components, using hand tools to repair and fabricate parts, and working with other Maintenance Technicians to investigate operational problems.
