As a Quality Engineer II at Honeywell in Mexico, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and administering quality engineering methods and systems. You will lead quality initiatives, evaluate process and design changes, provide product testing results, and drive continuous improvement. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will maintain a high level of accuracy in testing records and compliance with procedures. You will ensure that the manufacturing operations adhere to the established quality standards and that all parts and products meet customer requirements. You will be responsible for inspecting in-process or completion components and finding appropriate solutions in case of defects. You will participate in the investigation of non-conformance and deviations from product standards, perform Root Cause Failure Analysis, and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions. You will help to ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management System by participating in internal quality system audits, identifying areas for improvement, and revising quality standards as needed. Additionally, you will track and manage all quality and reliability data. You will use a variety of learning strategies, analytical tools, techniques and technical reports to develop and recommend improvements in quality. You must also remain up to date with the latest developments in quality management and engineering principles. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering in the tech industry. Demonstrable knowledge of quality management principles, statistical process control, quality tools and techniques, problem-solving processes, and auditing is essential.
