Working in an Agile environment using the latest software technologies from embedded controls to building level applications, to cloud enabled solutions you will be trying different and novel approaches to address problems and opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Building a platform for Carbon Tracking and Insight, Energy management and Energy Optimization.
· Develop storyboards translated from customer’s requirements
· Ability to understand and implement the cyber security requirements for cloud. Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
· Prototype, Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable front-end code
· Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
· Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems


· Bachelor's Degree in Technology/Computer Science/Electronics
· 6+ years of experience with ReactJS, Redux, Enzyme, html5, CSS
· 6+ years of experienced in MS Azure Table Storage/ SQL, DocumentDB
· 6+ years design, development and architecture experience in Cloud Services, Micro Services, Event & IOT Hubs, Microsoft .NET, Web Services and hand-on experience in SaaS enabled solutions
· 6+ years of full-stack development experience including User interface, Middleware and Database
· 6+years of experience in database technology like SQL Server and NO SQL technology
· 6+ years of hand-on experience with DevSecOps and knowledge on setting up of CI/CD pipeline


· Master’s Degree in Technology/Computer Science/Electronics
· 6+ Years of developing, designing cloud services.
· Product development experience in Building automation/BMS domain is highly preferred. If not in same domain, experience in similar Automation domains will also be an advantage.
· In-depth design and development experience with minimum of 1 project life cycle on Cloud / SaaS
· Experience in designing highly scalable, fault-tolerant services. Experience with Performance analysis and Fine Tuning is added advantage.
· Experience with working in Agile / SCRUM teams and Scrum Masters are preferred

Advanced Software Engineer (.NET Developer)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research and develop novel software solutions to be used to build new features and improvements in the Forge product portfolio.
Produce code that will operate in a secure, well-tested, and performant way using coding that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a cloud based micro-services environment.
Work in a highly collaborative team environment and be required to actively participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including sizing, design, coding, testing, peer review and planning activities.
Work with product, engineering and operations teams to understand the requirements and constraints that will shape the design of your solutions.
Develop strategies for scaling your solutions beyond the proof of concept phase.
Regularly demonstrate progress to stake holders.

40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

  • Build a Design System. Develop a comprehensive library of GDM-approved components to enhance our digital customer experience.
  • Focus on creating reusable components and interaction patterns to streamline development processes across all businesses.
  • Governance and Standardization - Provide standard UX-focused tickets for development teams, ensuring a seamless workflow and thoughtfulness of the end-to-end customer journey.
  • Ensuring Compliance with WCAG 2.2 Accessibility Standards
  • Ensure all current designs exceed the standards set by WCAG 2.2 for accessibility.
  • Conduct comprehensive audits, design reviews, and implement best practices for accessibility in design and functionality.
  • Use a suite of tools to ensure code is WCAG compliant and follows UX best practices.

You Must Have

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
  • 5 years of experience in front-end development processes, with a focus on user experience and accessibility.
  • Experience building and maintaining design libraries and systems (Figma, low-code or no-code framework, Atomic Design ethics).
  • Experience with WCAG 2.2 standards and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience working with front-end development technology teams, using languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., SCSS, React, NextJS).
  • Proven track record of implementing accessibility standards on web applications.

We Value

  • Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, UI Design, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
  • Certifications in accessibility (e.g., Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies - CPACC) would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse) for audits and validation.
  • Experience collaborating with UX designers and product teams to translate user needs into technical solutions.
  • Prior experience in Agile development methodologies and working within cross-functional teams.
