As a Residential Electric Meter Installation Foreperson here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and supervising a team of electric meter installers for residential properties. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation process, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining high-quality standard by auditing the work done. In this role, you will report directly to our Field Serviced Supervisor, and you'll work out of our designated location in the residential area of Orillia, Ontario on a full-time, on-site work schedule.In this role, you will have a significant impact on the successful installation of electric meters in residential properties, ensuring accurate readings and efficient energy consumption. You will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the installation team, providing technical guidance, and resolving any issues that may arise during the installation process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and supervise a team of electric meter installers and Sub foreperson for residential and commercial properties
• Coordinate and schedule installation projects, ensuring timely completion
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Provide technical guidance and support to the installation team
• Resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the installation process
• Continuous Auditing of the work your installers conduct

YOU MUST HAVE

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Foreperson Role
• Journeyman certificate

Key Responsibilities

• HBS is seeking a Refrigeration Mechanic to join its Kanata, ON Service team.
• This position requires travel within Ottawa, and surrounding area.
• Conduct preventative maintenance functions and troubleshooting of machinery to reduce downtime and maximize efficiencies.
• Operate and maintain all mechanical room and other equipment including chiller refrigeration, boilers, pumps, compressors, condensers, and HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC and electrical problems and make changes as needed.
• Be the face of Honeywell to the customer and interact directly with end-users.
• Learn end-to-end delivery of Honeywell solutions.

YOU MUST HAVE

• High School Diploma, or GED
• 3-5 years of experience as a Journeyman
• Gas Technician Certificate G-1
• Must be able to obtain security clearance and controlled goods
• A member of Local UA 787 or willing to join Union
• Valid G driver’s license
