As a Field Service Solution Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in providing technical expertise and support to our customers. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our advanced systems. Your knowledge and skills will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our products in the field.

You will report directly to our Field Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our designated customer sites across various locations within Newfoundland.

This role requires frequent travel and the ability to work in diverse environments. In this role, you will have a direct impact on our customers' satisfaction and the success of our business. Your ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues will contribute to the overall reliability and performance of our products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide on-site technical support to customers, including troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of advanced systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to ensure the optimal performance of our products.
  • Document and report all service activities, including findings, recommendations, and solutions.
  • Train customers on the proper use and maintenance of our products.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • College Diploma or degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Computer science, Information technology, or engineering.
  • Minimum 5 Years’ experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of building automation technologies, Enterprise Applications and Connected Services
  • 5+ years with Enterprise Applications and Connected Service (HVAC, DVM, Security, OBS, Fire etc.)
  • 5+ years experience using industry standard communications protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, SNMP, API)
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

  • Bilingualism in French is an asset

You will own and direct all relational aspects of Navy/Canada CBT goals of Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for orders and margin along with coordinating with all functions of the Honeywell value chain. You will establish and maintain a relationship with the customer base and perform the requirements of a Honeywell CBMs in execution of yearly targets for our Canadian Customers. You will engage with customers, translate customer requirements into Honeywell specifications, develop customer roadmaps and develop future pipelines for assigned customers. Key requirements are:

Communicates with multiple Prime and Government customers and their leadership on a regular basis to define and influence business requirements

Understands the competitive environment and identifies and recommends potential channel partners to facilitate growth.

Implements & sustains technical support self-service solutions, and order management digital solutions for improved efficiency.

Supports Strategic Plan (STRAP) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development and attainment.

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum 10 years of experience in sales, business development or business management

Canadian Military aviation, surface warfare, intelligence, or related experience

Senior military officer (O-5/O-6 and above) with major command or acquisition center experience and/or SES/Civilian experience in government

Alternatively, 20+ years of Federal, DND business development, capture, and/or operational experience in Canada

Understanding of DND budgeting process, military capability requirements, and acquisition process (e.g., Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System; Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution; Federal Acquisition Regulations)

Knowledge of Multi-Domain Operations, Advance Battle Management System, Joint All-Domain Command and Control, and operational mission requirements
