This Offering Manger will be responsible for product strategy and execution of Product Management activities related to the nominated portfolio of Pacific Honeywell Fire.

As the Offering Manager for Portfolio, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and management of our product portfolio offerings. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong market analysis skills, product management expertise, and the ability to collaborate across functions to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall strategy for the company’s product portfolio, aligned with market trends, customer needs, and business goals.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to identify new opportunities and gaps in the portfolio.
  • Define the product roadmap, including prioritization of initiatives, feature enhancements, and portfolio expansion plans.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of products within the portfolio, from concept through to end-of-life decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, operations) to ensure timely development, launch, and ongoing support of products.
  • Monitor product performance, analyze metrics, and implement strategies to optimize product profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to the portfolio.
  • Conduct regular market analysis and customer feedback sessions to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Act as a key liaison between product management, sales, marketing, and executive leadership to communicate portfolio strategy, initiatives, and performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on priorities, resolve issues, and drive consensus on strategic decisions.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or Engineering
  • Possess strong Office Automation Product knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Professional Skills / Knowledge

  • Minimum of 6 years of expertise in product management, offering management, or related roles, with a focus on portfolio management
  • Proven track record in portfolio performance management and lifecycle management
  • Strong understanding of Master Data Management
  • Experience in developing and implementing process improvements and new business models.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Developed understanding of building controls (or similar) technology

You will report directly to our Director of Technology and Control Solutions and you'll work out of our Tulsa, Ok location on a Hybrid work schedule.In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our projects and operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of highly skilled electrical, Instrumentation and controls engineers, optimizing work processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will also lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and instrumentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


• Lead and manage the execution of the electrical, instrumentation and controls deliverables for UOP Equipment projects
• Oversee the development of electrical and instrumentation design for new and existing technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective and efficient execution of projects
• Collaborate with Technical sales engineers to develop an accurate and competitive cost estimate for new opportunities.

  • Collaborate with other electrical, Instrumentation and controls managers nationally and globally to share resources, lesson learned and cross training.
  • Drive improvements in UOP’s technologies and work processes
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team in solving complex engineering problems
  • Influencing and motivating regional and global stakeholders to adopt, implement and sustain appropriate processes related to Electrical, Instrumentation and controls
  • Build strong team by recruiting top talent, build succession, drive engagement, and promote inclusion and diversity.

YOU MUST HAVE


• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in process control and instrumentation or related roles
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Develop and represent a point of view on channel priorities, program competitiveness/attractiveness to regional partners and on opportunities to support regional commercial objectives through improvements in program structure and execution.
  • Own the delivery of the Channel Partner Program to the region/country channel partners.
  • Ensure regional channel partner footprint is aligned to strategic plan and AOP objectives, including vertical and geographic coverage. Propose changes where needed to ensure alignment.
  • Execute competitive program analysis in partnership with regional commercial teams. Suggest and implement regional program improvements to continue positioning HON as the preferred partner.
  • In partnership with regional and line of business channel marketing teams, will execute strategies to support channel growth KPIs, including growth in Marketing Development Funds (MDF) usage and ROI, partner engagement and retention metrics, and rebate program design.
  • Generate channel insights for the region/country and represent it in monthly channel team reviews with functional and business leadership.
  • Drive annual partner tier alignment and program launches for the region.
  • Implement initiatives to drive adoption and usage of digital program tools, such as the partner portal, positioning and reinforcing it as a value-added program benefit.
  • Manage compliance and legal requirements of the channel program, ensuring deployment and renewal of program agreements, channel contracts, partner due diligence and vetting.
  • Drive adoption of channel-facing marketing processes, such as the MDF and promotions submission/review.
  • Represent channel at customer-facing functions, including channel partner summits and other events.
  • Partner with channel excellence and regional commercial teams to ensure partner POS and inventory data reporting.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field or strong work history in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service or business management
  • Proven ability to develop effective sales strategies and lead a team to success.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing or Customer Service with at least 2 years’ experience in a management position.
  • Experience in the Fire or Building Automation technologies is preferred
