As a Software Engineer III of Hardware/Software Co-Design in the Tech Industry in Google in Sunnyvale, United States, you will work with both hardware and software engineers to design, develop, and optimize products. You will be responsible for understanding hardware architectures and designing software architectures that are optimized for the targeted platform. You will also need to be knowledgeable about existing hardware/software co-design tools, techniques, and technologies, including if available, machine learning models for breaking problems into small tractable problems. You should have at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technologies, or related fields along with 5+ years of related experience designing and developing both software and hardware solutions. Additionally, you should have experience with integration of various hardware/software components, as well as proficiency in a variety of languages to facilitate development. In this role, you will work with both internal and external partners to develop, maintain and enhance new products. You will bring creative and innovative ideas to create efficient designs and solutions that are consistent with design and development standards. Additionally, you will interact with team members to provide direction and feedback on development projects.
