Description: Minimum qualifications: - Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant academic, internship, work, or personal project experience designing mechanical components (e.g., cooling systems, plastic or metal parts, mechanical assemblies, printed circuit boards, or flexes).
- Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) tools and analysis tools (e.g., 3D MCAD, NX, Creo, Solidworks, ANSYS, or other FEA tools).
Preferred qualifications: - PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in mechanical design, liquid cooling, and analysis in a hyperscale data center environment.
- Experience in mechanical engineering and design principles with specific expertise in the areas of design for medium-scale production, sheet metal and injection molding, structural and thermal analysis.
- Experience in designing complex electro-mechanical assemblies with an understanding of mechanical tolerances and tolerance analysis.
- Knowledge of chip/socket/cooling solution stack-ups, structural behavior, and reliability.
