As a Hardware Design Engineer in Google's board systems group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing advanced computer systems boards and components. You will be an integral part of the hardware engineering team and will help Google exceed customer expectations through best-in-class design and technology.
You will have the opportunity to explore, identify, and define cutting-edge system architecture solutions within the board systems group. This will include providing insights on technical designs and working with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the boards and systems are meeting technical requirements.
Your responsibilities will involve developing technology solutions to support multiple platforms within the board systems group. You will evaluate technical issues, optimize cost performance, and troubleshoot technical problems. This position will have you interacting directly with teams that are developing hardware initiatives, so your skills in problem solving, design, and product development are a must.
On top of the design requirements, you will stay up to date with the changing tech industry trends and work on developing forward-thinking strategies to support Google's engineering initiatives. Google is looking for someone with a strong technical background who can think strategically and innovatively to help our engineering team reach our goals.
