• Analyze financial performance and manage accounts receivable of distributors

• Manage performance and delivery metrics for group hospitals

• Collect, analyze, and evaluate competitive intelligence

Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry

• Strong financial knowledge, including financial analysis and receivables management

• Excellent negotiation skills

• Proficient in English (business level: TOEIC 700+ )

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Ability to communicate effectively with various internal departments (e.g., Sales, Finance, Supply Chain)

• High proficiency in Excel (for calculations) and PowerPoint (for presentations)

Desired Characteristics

• MBA degree

• Over 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry

• Licensed pharmacist

Description:

In this role you will:

  • Support and report to NMP/PDx Integration Lead.
  • Work closely with the GMs of NMP and PDx, Integration Leads and other stakeholders to develop detailed integration project plans and identify critical milestones
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive all required activities in various domains (e.g. IT, QARA, R&D, MA, finance, legal, etc.)
  • Drive day-to-day execution of program tasks, resolve roadblocks and organizational interdependencies,
  • Manage program scope, track budget, metrics, and timelines
  • Identify and anticipate risks, work to develop mitigation plans
  • Serve as a key point of contact for NMP and ensure their teams are supported adequately during the transition or partnership period
  • Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including leadership and executives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in product development, program management, and/or related field, leading cross functional programs, life-cycle management, and/or large global projects (OR Master’s degree with 6 years of experience)
  • Business Level of both English and Japanese

Eligibility Requirements:

  • This position is based in the Japan only. Legal authorization to work in Japan is required. GE HealthCare may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
  • Must be willing to travel as required.

Program Management Expertise:

  • Demonstrated competency in providing leadership and direction to cross-functional teams and resources
  • Proven experience in product life-cycle management
  • Experience managing financials including business cases, budgets, and spend
  • Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans
  • Expert in navigating through ambiguity, prioritizing conflicting requirements and bringing clarity to teams
  • Change oriented – actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly

Business Acumen:

  • Demonstrate ability to engage and communicate with customers, both internal and external

  • Understands contrast media, PET, SPECT and nuclear theranostics, requirements for meeting various country regulatory clearances, and demonstrates awareness of industry dynamics
  • Understands industry trends and competitive landscape and the implications for GEHC business; partner with business leaders to align projects with business goals and needs

  • Strong leadership skills with ability to influence outcomes and organize teams to attain shared goals

The Japan Finance Lean leader plays a critical role in redesigning financial processes to improve efficiency and standardization within the Japan zone and inline with the International Region transformation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partners with the financial leadership to define the FP&A, Commercial Finance, Product Finance, Service & Cash Finance functions standard work & roadmap to future state.
  • Collaborates with the entire Japan Finance team as well as key stakeholders in International Finance teams to streamline finance operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • In addition to the Finance Transformation and Standardization efforts, she/he may also lead business or operational projects / initiatives in the area of Commercial Finance / FP&A / Accounting & Controllership.
  • Utilizes advanced analytics to monitor financial statements, identify vulnerabilities, and mitigate risks, thereby enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, leverages financial statement analysis to support strategic decisions, improving cash flow management and enhancing liquidity.
  • Drives significant cost savings and process improvements with in the Finance department.
  • Communicates complex financial strategies to stakeholders, gaining buy-in for process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Min of 5 years in Accounting or FP&A (If you feel strongly for 6, please let me know but 5 seems to be the norm)
  • Familiarity with financial data analysis tools and software
  • Experience in leading cross functional projects / change management

Preferred / Desired

  • Over 8 years in Accounting or FP&A
  • PMP or similar certification
  • Six Sigma Certification (black belt)
