  • The primary function of this role is to develop standardized offers with Fortinet SecOps and SASE Solutions
  • Conduct technical meetings with customers and resellers to highlight Fortinet products and solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to Fortinet Sales representatives, Fortinet resellers and distributors, in order to positively influence sales within the accounts or territory.
  • Travel within the assigned territory (Local presence for the Named Carrier Account in Latin America and the Caribbean) to ensure local Fortinet Sales Representatives and Named Carrier account key contacts, get the appropriate level of attention and care.
  • Coordinate and run demo required by customers, in order to shorten the sales cycle and effectively highlight Fortinet advantages over competitors.
  • Give proper follow-up to VIP projects and promptly report any advances or potential issues, so the sales counterpart can be aware and proactively work on the next step.

Job Experience / Abilities Required:

  • Deep technical knowledge on computer networks and Internet security.
  • Business oriented with sales skills.
  • Strong understanding of common TCP/IP Service Protocols, such as ICMP, DNS, FTP, SMTP, HTTP, SNMP, SSH.
  • Strong understanding in the following technologies and protocols: PPTP, L2TP, 802.1q, 802.1x, SSL, IKE, IPSec, 3DES, AES, SHA-1, MD5, OSPF, BGP, RIP and MPLS.
  • Experience with the design, installation and/or operation of network security solutions, including at least three of the following: Firewalls, VPNs, IDP/IPS, Antivirus Gateways, Web Content Filtering, AntiSpam, Vulnerability Managers and Database Security. SASE and SecOps is a plus.
  • Experience as operating systems administrator, either Microsoft Windows Sever or UNIX flavors/variants.
  • Experience Working knowledge of authentication systems such as LDAP, RADIUS, TACACS+, Active Directory, Digital Certificates / PKI.
  • Experience designing and/or operating/maintaining Wireless networking in a secure way.
  • At least 2 product certifications on Networking, Firewalls, VPNs, IPS, Antivirus, AntiSpam, URL Filtering or Vulnerability Managers; that can be from Fortinet or from other competitor products is a plus.
  • Great experience with engineering presales activities, including Sales meetings, Proof-of-concepts, Technical trainings, product sizing, solution design, assisting on creating sales proposals (with sales persons) and answering RFPs / public bids.
  • Previous experience working with Internet Service Providers or Wireless Service Providers either as an employee, partner or vendor attending the assigned territory (Mexico).

Full Responsibilities

• Act as the customer’ Single Point of Contact for Services and Support issues, facilitating conference calls, meetings and engaging the appropriate resources

• Support sales with the renewal process, ensuring quotes are accurate and have been validated prior to submission

• Drive continual process improvements to achieve business goals and maximize customer service

• Build executive/senior relationships within customer and understand the customer’s business practices/procedures, business drivers and corporate culture

• Address any customer satisfaction issues across the customer’s organization and follow up with the relevant stakeholder

• Analyze customer incidents determining how they have been handled; introduce efficiencies by amending process where applicable

• Effectively manage any escalation from receipt and drive to an agreed conclusion, ensuring all relevant parties are available and collaborating to drive a successful outcome and resolution of the issue

• Responsive to direct requests from support leadership, exceptional communication and situational management, continuously aware of the need to update appropriately to the situation, covering all points of view to contain situations through to closure
