  • Act as a subject-matter expert in pre-sales design reviews regarding his/her product specialization and serve as an authoritative consultant to Field Systems Engineers by providing technical guidance and leadership.
  • Participate with SE peers to help design secure IP networks, utilizing and leveraging all aspects of Fortinet’s product line to create superior solutions in competitive environments.

  • Strong network and security skills, including hands-on experience with products from top security vendors. Good understanding of networking technologies.
  • Deep understanding of (The following requests regarding CSE product specialization):
  • 10+ years of experience in Network and Application Security in a Pre-Sales Engineering position
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of 802.1X IEEE standard.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Network Access Control (NAC) architectures.
  • Experience with one or more NAC vendor solutions: Cisco ISE, ForeScout, ClearPass (Aruba), Cloud Path (RUCKUS), or any other leader in the NAC space.
  • Experience with standard network security protocols. (e.g. OAuth, SAML, LDAP, OpenID Connect, RADIUS, TACACS)
  • Experience with network infrastructure technologies and solutions, VPN Clients, MFA, ZTNA Architecture, and how technology components interact with IAM and NAC Solutions
  • Understanding legal and privacy issues involved in tracking and managing user consent and privacy preferences.
  • Experience with PAM/PSM Architecture and solutions.
  • FortiNAC experience is a plus.
  • Application-level protocols such as SMTP, DNS, HTTP, SSL, LDAP, RADIUS
  • Information security technologies, including Email Security, DLP, and Sandboxing.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Public Cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (desirable).
