  • Write and execute QA tests, and provide clear, actionable reports on issues found in new software, including assessments of stability and reliability.
  • Quickly understand customer network environments and efficiently set up test environments to verify features or reproduce critical customer issues.

Job Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in QA, DevOps, or systems engineering roles.
  • Strong background in Unix/Linux operations.
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, routing/switching, and VPN technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of application protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience in system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Shell, Ruby, Perl, Python, etc.) and ability to read at least one higher-level language (e.g., C).
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and software development fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with public cloud platforms preferred.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Ability to self-manage and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Linux System Administration:
    • Manage and support Linux servers across multiple distributions such as Ubuntu, Red Hat, and Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL).
  • Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
    • Monitor performance across servers, VMs, containers, applications, and networks.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, including network components, security appliances, servers, and storage.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience managing production environments.
  • Must have hands-on experience in OpenStack & Ceph Administration.

  • Solid understanding of network administration and standard protocols.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix or Nagios.
